ReplyDeleteHi Marcella - Do you know if your $2 ECB was from your quarterly purchases of just a random thing?
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly - Here is what I pruchased

2 Kids Throat Coolers (with a raincheck I've had for over a year)
= $40.58
used:

(2) $1 Kids Throat Coolers
(1) $2 CVS coupon for buying 2 body was
$5 off $40
$6.50 in ECB
Paid $8.59 + tax
Earn $26 in ECBs
I've struck out at the coupon machine for 3 straight weeks now. All I got today was $1 off CVS cosmetics. I was really hoping for the $2/2 body wash or a $4/$20.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. I'd only been to CVS once before and bought a pack of diapers. My receipt printed the $1 extracare bucks for the diapers.
ReplyDeleteHi Marcella - Thanks for the additional info. I haven't quite figured out the 2% back that you get quarterly for shopping at CVS. My first thoughts were maybe that is where the $2 ECB came from. I haven't shopped for diapers in years, but I'm sure they aren't $100 a pack. :)
ReplyDeleteJeri - From what I've read I think this is how the quarterly savings works- if you spend at least $25 in one quarter you get back 2% of what you spend. But I dont know how they compute the total. Last quarter I supposedly spent only $19.50 so I didnt get anything back. I dont know how you use the 2%, maybe it prints like an ECB or it deducts it from your total when you check out using your card? I've sent a couple emails to CVS asking questions and they responded but I still dont understand it all.
ReplyDeleteHi CJ - The quarterly ECB prints out of the coupon machine or at the end of your receipt. It looks much like a regular ECB, but does say something about quarterly spending.
ReplyDeleteI still dont understand quarterly spending. Last week my receipt said I had $13.69 for Spring 2010. This week I spent $6.61 OOP and my quarterly spending only went up to $14.35.
ReplyDeleteHi CJ - I haven't figured out quarterly spending either. I keep meaning to ask, but it totally slips my mind when I'm there - too excited about bringing home a bag of goodies for almost no money.
