Bacardi Mail-In Rebate

This is an interesting find. Save up to $6 by mail when you purchase participating Bacardi Rums or Bacardi Flavored Rums.

Edit: Find this rebate form at the store, hung around the neck of Bacardi bottles.
  • Save $2 on (1) 750 mL or 1L Bottles
  • Save $6 on (2) 750mL or 1L Bottles
  • Limit (3) refunds per name, household, group or address
  • No Purchase Required in Missouri

What? I understand beer rebates where no beer purchase is required because you need to purchase other items, but how does this one work? Has anyone seen this type of rebate before with a liquor company?

Thanks, Couponmama!

  1. Jeri - this is the one that I commented about a while back. I wasn't able to find a great contact number for the company so I haven't made any progress in figuring out what to do with it!

  2. Jeri,
I found one from Bacardi recently that had three different two dollar rebates for ice, soda, etc. I always look at the rebates in this aisle but I am definitely going to have to look closer if they are just giving away money for nothing Hea hea

  3. Hi Lisa - I didn't mean to ignore you about this rebate. I'm sorry. Sometimes it takes me several good wacks before something sinks in. I'm going to send it in, I'll gamble with my .44 stamp.

I don't look at the Liquor rebates very often. I've kind of ignored them since many times they require a liquor purchase and we just don't buy much. I'm going to start taking a closer look.

  4. Hahaha :) Now, I don't know if I want to find this or not. :)

  5. Oh yeah! I think you "correctly understand" the rebate, Ms. Jeri! Maybe I will also gamble on this with a stamp if I find one. :)

  6. I'm guessing someone at Bacardi & Company Limited didn't do their homework. I looked at my fair share of hard liquor rebate forms, intended for MO, and purchase of spirits was a requirement. Now if you own a bar, don't even think about doing these rebates and using the stuff to serve your customers.

Talk about a business that can't follow a MO status. No name for the guilty, except I looked at my receipt after an in-ad MQ is deducted and tax is based on the before MQ subtotal. A few pennies ain't going to break me.

  7. I'm going to put a short letter in with mine explaining I'm a MO resident and didn't include a purchase receipt b/c no purchase was required. My husband totally laughed at me and said "you know they're going to find some reason to deny you, right?" But heck, for free money x 3 I will hassle with them.

  8. If the address to send in is "CMS" - Beware!

I ALWAYS have issues getting my rebates from them. Seems they just can't understand NBPN....

  10. Thanks, Andrea for the warning.

Hi Anonymous - I'm sorry I didn't explain where to find this rebate form. I'm sure you aren't the only one confused where to find it.

Rebate form is found at the store on a hang tag around the neck of Bacardi bottles. I'll edit my post.

  11. Jeri - No worries as I didn't feel ignored, just completely baffled by this form. I was just happy to see someone else found it and is clueless too!

  12. Hi Lisa
I found it at Schnuck's today as well.

I have started calling CSM when they first open in the morning and they are very helpful. I got a card saying my rebate had been rejected becuase it didn't have the right purchase amount. I told I am sure I had the right amount and still have a copy of the form and receipt. She looked it up and said that the processor did not add all of the items and she fixed. Convenient for them if you don't call them but money in the bank for little old stubborn me.

  13. Hi Lisa - I wonder if the rebate center employees are that incompetent or if they are trained to reject x number of rebates a day.

Consumers should start contacting the manufacturer every time a rebate center doesn't honor a legitamate rebate and tell them it not only reflects poorly on the rebate center but the manufacturer too.

  14. Hey just wanted to let you know I found some of these $6 dollar freebies at Schnucks and my son was trying to pull down a display so I just grabbed one and didn't look at it and wouldn't you know it , its not for 3x $6 but 3 X $10 also from Bacardi. I would guess you have to have a hang tag for each?

  15. Thanks, Lisa! Was the $10 rebate - no purchase requried in MO, also?

  18. I've sent three $10.00 rebate receipts and haven't heard anything back from them, I think it's all a big lie. I buy six 1.5 liter bottles of Bacardi a month. think I'll find another brand.

  19. Hi JEM - Has it been a long time since you sent in your rebates? Sometimes it takes a very long time for them so send the check.

I took a look at the rebate form for a contact number, but none is listed.
