$10 off $50 this Thursday at Shop 'n Save.
Some of my Favorite Coupon this week:
- FREE Mail-in rebate offer for Zegerid 14 ct.
- $4 off Zegerid, 14 ct.
- $4 off Schick Hydro Razor - TARGET Coupon
- $2 off Sugar when you buy (10) Kool-Aid Packets
- $2 off Pampers
- $1.50 off 2 Miracle Whip or Kraft Mayo
- $1.50 off Huggies
- $1 off Kraft Salad Dressing
- $1 off John Morrell Off the Bone product
- $1 off Solo or Bare by Solo product
- $1 off 2 Eggo Products
Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my $1 investment.
DEAL$, Dollar Tree and Sam's Club sell the Sunday Post-Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. And they usually still have Sunday papers left on Monday. Find the Deal$ , Dollar Tree or Sam's Club closest to you.
Currently, Schnucks has the packs of Kool-Aid 10 for $1, which means a buck off a bag of sugar with free Kool-Aid.
ReplyDeleteMs. Jeri, is it Coupon Thursday this coming week at ShopNSave? Much thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, kas! I knew I had seen Koo-Aid 10 for $10 somewhere, but couldn't remember where. If this summer is anything like last, Kool-Aid should be on sale quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteHi coupon.girl - I don't know yet. The paper carrier delivered Sunday's ad with the Saturday paper. This is the first time I ever remember getting the ads on Sat. The SNS ad isn't in the section he delivered. I'm going to go pick up a paper later becase I also want to know what the Redar Reward coupon is. I'll update my post when I have the info.
You know my mom and my mother in law both get the Sunday paper and only use a few coupons so they save the rest for me and thats how I get my extras. They very rearly use the ones I want! My grandma also get them, but she gives them to my aunt who lives in Springfield, MO. However if there is a particular coupon I want and she still has it I can get it. So I have a pretty sweet set up and it is really NO extra cost to me! Can't beat that! Must say I'm BLESSED with wonderful mothers and grandma!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous - How nice for your relatives to share their coupons. The best way to get inserts is FREE.
ReplyDeleteWe do have a 10/50 Thursday this week. I agree Free inserts are the best. I usually receive @ 6-8 free inserts per week from friends, family and clients each week. Have a Happy Fathers Day to all. =)
ReplyDeleteJeri...This weeks' freebie at Dierbergs is for Grande tortilla chips! I can't see those without thinking of you now lol.
ReplyDeleteThe Sunday P-D paper consist of three sections and the printing plant out in Maryland Heights print only two.
ReplyDeleteComics/ad/inserts are items that might be produced weeks ago and probably done at non-union plants. My bite is that outstate MO will receive last week MQ inserts, if there's a shortage.
Classified, given the P-D want commitment by Thursday afternoon and actual work in by the next day (now all done on a PC), will be printed locally Friday evening. Most will be bundled and go out early Saturday morning to carrier.
Finally, an early 'main' section will be produced and combined with the other sections. This will sent to stores for Saturday afternoon sales and Saturday evening street sales. The final edition is what the carriers throw on the lawn or delivered to apartments.
Over the years, the final edition, which carriers always deliever in the Sunday a.m., has skimped on the latest news and sport scores. Beginning with the old ownership, various size routes have been purchased back from carriers and branch managers. While good money was paid for these routes, the P-D policy is to treat replacement carriers as subcontractors and skimp on the money. Finally, when things were good, the P-D constantly raised classified rates. Businesses responded in time, by using other media outlets. Good ad revenue pay the bills, otherwise we get $1 daily papers and a return to outraged home delivery fees.
I'm happy. $10 off $50 and Free Grande Chips.
ReplyDeleteOn the Zegerid rebate, note that it says the rebate check will be minus any coupon or discount. So just to be safe, dont use any RRs or ECBs or you may not get the full amount back.
ReplyDelete"The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts." I knew this already, because I get the coupons from my landlady on Saturday, but I have never tried buying papers on Saturday - do they sell early editions at Dollar Tree, etc. that have inserts in them on Saturday? As always, thanks so much for all the great help we get from this blog!
ReplyDeleteCJ - I think of you as the rebate expert. Have you ever had a problem getting the full rebate when you used ECB's or RR's, or have you not submitted any in that situation, yet?
ReplyDeleteHi Brittany - I've never purchased papers at the Dollar Tree, but since they sell papers they should have the early edition.
ReplyDeleteAny early edition I've seen has all the inserts. But, I always thumb through them before I buy - just to make sure they aren't missing an insert.
Hey all...there's a great deal in the newspaper for new subscribers. I usually get my papers at deals b/c it is usually cheaper than the sunday only subscription price, but the paper has a one day only sale (Monday) where you can get 52 weeks of Sunday only for 99c a week & get a $20 Target GC, or 26 weeks of Sunday only for 99c a week + $10 Target giftcard. There was an insert in today's paper about this. GREAT DEAL!!! you can log on www.stltoday.com/summ or call 888-785-3201 on monday from 7-7. whoo hoo. now i wonder if they will let me do this deal for multiple subscriptions??
ReplyDeleteJeri - Of all the rebates I've done, I think there's only been one or two that I didnt get the full amount back because I used a coupon, RR or ECB. If it says anything about not being valid with "other offers", I try to buy it separately and pay with cash, just in case.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Couponmama!
