FREE Pampers Wipes at Walmart

I'm not a Walmart shopper. I don't have one convenient to me and I never get their ad in the newspaper. I've ventured to Walmart a few times with coupons and a list of great deals I've read about on forums and blogs, but I haven't found any of those deals in this area. So, I don't post Walmart deals, but I'm not a "never say never" type of person.

Reader Leah, confirmed this deal. Papers wipes are on Rollback at the Maplewood and Chesterfield store. There were plenty in stock yesterday.

Pampers Wipes - $1.97
$2 - 6/6/10 P&G
Final price: FREE

Thanks, Leah!

Are you a regular Walmart shopper? Email me if you find a deal everyone should know about.

  1. I try to stay out of Walmart, it's one of my least favorite stores to shop at. I did run in to the one in Arnold today, however, and they also had the wipes for $1.97 and had a lot of them on the shelf! Hope this helps someone!

  3. I really don't like walmart either but I will go every once in awhile and make a run if I have a lot of coupons.
On coupons.com there is $1/1 Muir Glen canned tomatoes and I read some tomato paste is .98 which would make it free. Some walmarts won't do the overage so I guess it just depends on the cashier. Also coupons.com has $1/2 taco bell and the seasonings are .50 and some of the salsa is $1 so that would make those cheap and/or free depending what you need. I just read about these online, I haven't went yet to see the prices in this area. I am going tonight so I will let you know what I find.

  4. I HATE Wal Mart and only go there if I really have to. I really would rather spend my money and coupons somewhere else.

  5. I have one right down the street, but rarely go! I drive 10 miles away to SHS, but rarely two miles to Walmart. I hate that they don't double, no cats, and they usually mess up my coupons somehow. I think the prices are high too. However, I go about once a month for cheap YoPlus and whatever bargains I read about online. I am definitely going to do the Pampers wipes there! Kelly

  6. The Walmart on W. Florissant in Ferguson has to be one of the nasty store in the chain. On a scale of 1 to 10, Maplewood ranks 6 on a a good day, while the Ferguson dump comes in at a -6 on a good day. Jeri, that ALPS store on Grand is way better, any day of the week.

Since the Telegraph store was remodeled, I usually shop there. It's a lot cleaner and the employees seem more friendly, than in the past. A major knock is a real lack of parking spaces, especially compare to the newer (Super) Walmart. Add in it's off the interstates and I don't have to fight traffic on Hanley.

  7. The prices I posted above about Muir Glen and Taco Bell were correct at the Walmart on Jungerman in St. Peters. I went with my neighbor and we did good. Her total was $270 before coupons and $60 after!

  8. I think the new wal-mart in manchester is really nice, however my father (a pretty laid back guy) who is senior citizen age has gotten into a pretty heated argument with one nasty checker or another probably 5/10 times he has gone there when he comes up to the city to visit my family. They checkers have always been really disrespectful to him! (And he is not a couponer....) Just goes to show that the quality of the stores can really vary, just as much as your experience can also depend on the quality of your checker. I'm always hesitant to get too excited about stores like Wal-Mart because you never know what your experience will be. Luckily, I've never had a *really bad* experience, I always think in the back of my mind that I would be proactive in asking for a manager, showing store policy, and even calling corporate...but probably I would just sulk out and suck it up just to be done dealing with the nonsense!

  9. Thanks everyone for your feedback. It sounds like we all have close to the same opinion about Walmart. But, if I was like Kelly and had one right down the street, I would stop in for the freebies.

Thanks, Jenny for the info on Glen Muir and Taco Bell.

  10. "Papers" wipes. I know it's a typo but it "reads" funny. It will literally be a "pain in the a_ _ !" hehehe :)

  11. Hi coupon.girl - Gosh, I've had lot of typos lately. I'm glad you see the humor.

  12. Our Walmart in Troy is not showing the "rollbacks" because there isn't competition like they have in the city; was there today and got the FREE pampers wipes but the BBQ sauce that was supposed to rollback to $1.00 was still showing $1.68 ??? What's up with that?

  13. Hi partyliteshows - Walmart sounds like Target. Good prices at one store and not the next.

  14. My WalMart never has the same items and prices that I see posted on blogs, so I dont even bother to go looking for those deals.

  15. Hi CJ - That is why I don't blog about them either. Although, if someone can confirm a price for me, I'm not against posting a few Walmart deals.
