Coupon Preview 7/18/10

Sunday's St Louis Post-Dispatch has One coupon inserts - SmartSource and a few coupons in Parade Magazine

$10 off $50 this Thursday at Shop 'n Save.

We've hit the doldrums of summer coupons. Pet food coupons are the best ones the SmartSource insert this week, but it will be nice to be able to pick up a smoothie at McDonald's for FREE.

Parade Magazine
  • FREE McCafe Smoothie or Frappe at McDonald's (expires 8/15)
  • .50 off any Walgreens Brand over-the-counter medication (expires 7/24)
  • $1 off 2 Kellogg's Fiber Plus Cereals and/or Chewy Bars

Smart Source

  • B1G1 Purina Friskies Cat Treats
  • $3 off Bausch & Lomb Smoothe Eye Drops
  • $2 off Purina Dog or Puppy Chow, 9 lb. or smaller
  • $1.50 off Purina Dog or Puppy Chow, 15.5 lb. or larger
  • $1.50 off Pull-Ups
  • $1 off any Revlon Cosmetic Product
  • $1 off any Revlon Beauty Tool
  • $1 off Purina Cat or Kitten Chow, 3 lb. or larger
  • $1 off Activia Yogurt
  • $1 off Danimals yogurt

Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my $1 investment.

DEAL$, Dollar Tree and Sam's Club sell the Sunday Post-Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. And, they usually have Sunday papers left on Monday. Find the Deal$ , Dollar Tree or Sam's Club closest to you.

  1. I tried to use the wags coupon today on their version of benadryl since it was B1G1 and the register would not take it. The manager gave some excuse and then wouldn't let me use it. How frustrating! Hopefully there will be a wags register fairy working her magic tonight and others won't have issues using it tomorrow. :)

  2. Hi Jamie - That's ridiculous. There is no start date on the coupon. I would have marched over and picked up a Sunday paper from the newsstand and showed him exactly where I got the ocupon.

It's ironic the ad says,"Walgreens relieves your pain and your concerns." But, obviously not when using coupons.
