Coupon Preview - 7/25/10

Sunday's St Louis Post-Dispatch has Two coupon inserts - SmartSource and Redplum, plus a few coupons in Parade Magazine

NO $10 off $50 at Shop 'n Save on Thursday.

  • $1 off Betty Crocker Brownie Toppers
  • $1 off 2 Eggos or Cinnabon Frozen Products
  • .40 off Ziplock brand bags
  • .35 off Pillsbury Refrigerated Sweet Rolls

Coupons in Parade Magazine:

  • $3 off Bausch & Lomb Smoothe Eye Drops
  • $2 off Celsius 4-pack or Higher Count
  • $1 off Olay Facial Moisturize or Facial Cleanser
  • .50 off Celsius Single Can
  • .50 off Walgreens Brand over-the-counter medication (expires 7/31)
Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my $1 investment.

DEAL$, Dollar Tree and Sam's Club sell the Sunday Post-Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. And, they usually have Sunday papers left on Monday. Find the Deal$ , Dollar Tree or Sam's Club closest to you.

    Is it just me or have the coupon inserts been very light these days? I was gone for 2 wks and came home to 3 wks worth of papers...hardly anything noteworthy. I thought for sure this week would make up for it, yeah, not so much. Is it the midsummer vacatiion slump or something?

    Hi Marcella - Welcome back to town. Last year July was a little light in good coupon also, but I think this year is worse. I also think we are seeing the value of coupons decrease along with fewer coupons for food items.

    Hi CJ - The Celsius coupon is on page 17. I got one in both the paper I purchased Saturday and the paper delivered this morning.

    Jeri - My page 17 is a full page ad for a an emergency radio. How odd, I usually get the same Parade coupons that others get.

    What's with the food coupons. I just cleared out some expired coupons from my organizers. I have one for food items and one for non-food items. My non-food organizer is literally twice as big. Booo.
