Save-a-Lot has really cut back on the coupons that one could print off the web site. The Mrs. Smith $1.00 MQ was useless all month, given the cheap pies never were in the stores, all June.
ReplyDeleteIf that Eye Round is still in the cryback, which is a hard plastic bag, figure at least 21 days for wet aging or not opening the bag. Don't leave too long in the fridge or the meat will lose flavor. Dry aging, which is a lost art, means a 25% shrinkage over a 21 day period. Two ideas for meat scrapes is soaking the pieces in a marinade and making kabobs or grinding into ground round.
