  1. FYI - There is a $1 off coupon for the Alive! vitamins at www.feelalive.com, lower right corner. It is a bricks coupon, so can hopefully print twice!

There's also supposed to be a friend & family 15% off Q (8/2-8/4) for Likers on FB. I was planning to take a longer break from Wags, but with the 15% off and a couple of things I wouldn't mind getting my hands on or trying, I may have to rethink that!

  2. Check your Catalina coupons....i believe there was $1.50/1 on Stayfree tampons. They were printing about 2 weeks ago and may work nicely with this weeks sale.

  5. I posted this at the sneak peak blog and copied/pasted this here (hope you don't mind, Ms. Jeri) because I want to know if you guys experienced this and at what store to avoid going there. TIA.

"Don't want to be a bearer of bad news but yesterday when I went to Wags Kingshighway cor Chippewa, cashier told me that they DON'T accept any internet printable coupons anymore. He said that they received an e-mail from Corporate about this. I asked him if it's imposed in all Wags stores and he said, most probably. Makes me sad because these past few weeks all good coupons were IPQs. :( "

  6. Hi coupon.girl - I haven't ran into the Walgreens manager I know well yet, but I did speak to a long time employee at his store. She knew nothing about a memo from corporate about not accepting internet printable coupons.

Has anyone else had the same problem as coupon.girl?

  7. You think it's a good idea to call every Wags near me to ask about this? Got a new cellphone which has a recorder. So I will try to record conversation as proof. ;) Don't want to have another Dierberg's fiasco :I. Hope I won't need to play it though in front of any Wags employee which hubby has scripted a scene already because it's ridiculously funny. :)

  8. Hi coupon.girl - Before you record a conversations, do you know if it's legal to do?

You could always email Wags and see if you get an answer from Cusotmer Service.

  9. Jeri - I believe in MO the law is that as long as one party in the conversation knows it's being recorded, it's legal. I havent tried to use any internet coupons recently at Walgreens.

  10. My Walgreens posted a handmade sign for NO Internet Coupons about a month ago. I think it was just for me.....had to change my Walgreens.....hope this is not sofor all Walgreens, they told me it was up to the individual managers at the time!!!

  11. Hi CJ - Thanks for the recroding info. I would hate for coupon.girl to get in trouble over IP's.

Hi Anonymous - Well, it looks like coupon.girl isn't the only one whose store will not accept IP's. I hope it is just isolated situations.

  12. Oh my! Much thanks, Ms. Jeri and CJ for the concern and the info on legal stuff. I haven't even think about it. I have to be careful and check more on it. Don't want to be in a Bad News which has this title: "Coupon Girl In Trouble Over IPs". (knock on wood) hehehe :).

I'm with you Anon, now I also think it was just for me at this store. :(

  13. does that mean they won't take their own FF coupon? after all, it is an INTERNET PRINTABLE! : )

  14. Hi Molly - I'm hoping coupon.girl and anonymous go to their stores who don't take IP's with the F&F coupons and see how the store explains this one.

  15. As "Wild for Wags" pointed out the front of the Walgreens coupon book (found in the store) states on the from cover "Look for additional coupons at Walgreens.com/coupons" takes you to the Walgreen site where you can print many coupons.

  16. Hi Anonymous - What a great idea for those who have had problems with their Wags accepting IP's.

Even better if they have a Smart Phone to pull up Walgreens website in front of the manager and ask them why they don't accept IP's when Walgreens is obvioulsy promoting them.

  17. Just discovered this way of using coupons and had so much fun saving a ton of money tonight!! Thank you so much for this service! Can't wait to use it every week!

  18. Hi Anonymous - Welcome to the world of couponing. It will change the way you shop.

  19. my walgreens said they are not taking IP's anymore either. I think I am done with Walgreens. Does anyone know CVS's policy?

  20. Hi Liz - What Walgreens do you shop at?

I've never had a problem using any coupon at CVS. I shop at the South City store and I've seen cashiers know what coupon are going to beep before they even scan them. And, it's no problem. I have friends who shop at the South County store and have had great customer service also.

CVS is worth a little furter drive not to have to deal with Walgreens.

  21. Thanks Jeri! (I shop at the Walgreens on South Broadway). They have been pretty coupon friendly in the past, but the other day, they told me they have a new policy that they are not taking any printables becasue they are all fake (the manager's exact words) so crazy when walgreens website links to online coupons!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hi Liz - Not only can you print IP's directly off of Walgreens website, but Walgreens gets paid for the coupons that are printed off their site.

At least you aren't too far from the new CVS in South City.
