The most cost effective way to shop at Walgreens is to roll your Register Rewards from week to week.
If you are following my Walgreens $5 Scenarios, you have a $2 Carma Laboratories Register Reward from last week to start with.
The Dulcolax printable coupon is for $8.00. Walgreens Coupon Policy states a coupon will be reduced to the product's cost. Take a copy of the policy with you.
In your first transaction, check to see how the cashier handled this coupon. Some cashiers might push it through for the full value. If your cashier handles the Dulcolax coupon this way, you will need to purchase another item in the second transaction to cover the overage.

How about using the NyQuil 2/$10 with a $5 RR P and G $1.50 off on NyQuil, net price of $3.50 for two?? If I had two $1.50 off coupons it would be $1 each!
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous - The NyQuil's not a bad deal, but I wouldn't stock up too much.
ReplyDeleteLast year you could pick up cold & flu medicine for free if not make money buying them. It's still early in the season I and expect even better deals than $1 a bottle as we get closer to winter.
Jeri - Thanks for the feedback and insight! I am a newbie with couponing (at least at the level you and others on the web are at) so am just learning the ropes. It feels a bit daunting at times to keep track of the inserts and printed coupons from the web. I appreciate your great posts!

Hi Debra - Welcome to the world of couponing. We were all newbies at one time. Feel free to ask quesitons. The couponing community is more than glad to help.
ReplyDeleteThis is just great! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous/Debra,
ReplyDeleteJust a tip if you don't do this already. To keep track of the coupon inserts, I write the Sunday date on the front page of the inserts as soon as I get them, then keep all the SS separate from the Red Plum, etc. - in date order. Sure helps when trying to find the right inserts!
You're welcome Mrs. Fisher.
ReplyDeleteHi Patty - Great suggestion for the new couponer. I don't clip my coupons either until it's time to put my shopping plan togehter.
The impruv coupon is not working. :(
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs. Fisher - I hope your got one before it was gone.
