  3. I've tried the Garden Veggie and the plain white rice, both good and worth the .89.

  4. Scnucks on Watson in Crestwood had several tearpad coupons yesterday.

Marzetti buy 2 caramel dips/get $2 apples for free -as you enter the store, below the Marzetti caramel display. (Apples are $1/lb. this week.) AND Marzetti's "Caramel Dip Recipes" brochure has a $1 off on any Marz. Veggie Dip (11/1/10-2/28/11)

Sunny-D - $.25/1 (exp. 12/31/10), tear pad is on the SunnyD display adjacent dairy/frozen; near the SunnyD

Coca-cola tear pad - buy Any Coca-Cola Co. (12 oz./8 pack) AND any $4 frozen food and get $1 off the Coke (exp. 12/31/10). (Worked out to a Great deal for me yesterday, since I had an Ore-Ida "freebie" cat. and there was a sale on the Cokes - expired now, but the old sign was still up!)
Free 20 oz. Coke Zero w/purch. of (2) 2-liter of ANY product of the Coca Cola company. - Located at customer service (appears to be a bottle hang tag)(exp. 11/30/10)

  5. Just got back from Schnucks and found a few things I wanted to share. They have their BC boxed potatoes 2/$3. You can use the .50/2 from the smart sources and get them .75 per box. I also found in my old elpaso isle they had peelies for $3.00 off hamburger when you buy 3 taco shells or beans. Since I still had some old elpaso coupons (which expire today) I was able to get a great deal. Lastly, I got a print out from Catalina that stated Nov 1 to Nov 28 Tombstone pizza's buy 4 get a $2, buy 5 get a $3 or buy 6 or more and get a $4 Catalina.

  6. Cashier at the Crestwood Schnucks wouldnt let me use 2 Tidy Cat coupons with the B1G1 sale. Not sure if thats store policy or just a picky cashier. Made $1.50 profit on LaChoy Creations with coupon and rebate from The Nov All You magazine - after I tore off the UPC I saw the "best by" date on the item was June 2010. I'll try to return it. I never think to check expiration dates on dry items because I would think stores have a fast enough turnover, but I guess not. Saw a tearpad at the deli counter, I think it was for $2 off Coke when you buy a pound of deli meat. Sorry, I am so bad at noticing tearpads and remembering what they say!

  7. Thanks, Debra!

Thanks, Chris! - The Cat deals are such a mystery at times. Your info is very helpful. Sometimes the only way we can find out about them is from the print outs from the Cat machine. I'll included this info in next months Schnucks Cat info.

Hi CJ - I've found 2 coupons on a B1G1 at Schnucks to be a gray area in couponing. Since they don't have a printed policy, who knows if it's store policy or the cashier.

I'm not at all surpirsed you brought home a product past it's expiration date. Since I've started couponing, I try to remember to check dates before I buy, because I've seen lots of items at or past there expiration dates on the shelves.

You should call LaChoy about this too. When I've taken expired items to the customer service desk that are still on the shelves, they told me the manufacturers rep is suppose to pull those items.

  8. About expired things always check the mayo & stuff like that at the South County Target on Rusty Road they are horrible about pulling expired stuff....last week the Kraft Mayo that was on sale had expiration dates of 9/30 & 10/25

  9. I have had issues at Schnucks with expired mayo. Last year during the 10/10 with $1 IP. They told me that the rep was responsible too, but the Store Mgr was at the counter and he personally went and removed the remaining bottles that were expired. And apologized profusely. We really shouldn't have to check, but thanks for the reminders to do so.

I think the register beeps on the 2nd Q for B1G1 sales. If the cashier actually looks at it, they usually refuse. But most of my cashiers just look that you bought the item and forget to check the price on the screen and push it through. That being said, it seems that their registers are programmed to not accept 2 Qs on B1G1 sale.
