  1. There were .75 coupons for Halls Refresh in the Sept and Oct issues of All You. Also there are $1 coupons in the Noxzema razor packages so buy one and use the coupon from that one to get another, free after coupon and RR.

  2. Last night at Wags I bought 3 Reach toothbrushes and 4 other items. Had a coupon or RR for each item plus the $2 Reach coupon from the ad which took off $6. My first 2 $1 Reach coupons went through okay but the 3rd one beeped and the cashier wouldnt push it through even though the value of my Reach coupons wasnt over the price ($11.98 - $9 in coupons). So I had her void the 3rd toothbrush. But I still cant figure out why the 3rd coupon beeped. Somedays Wags doesnt make any sense.

  3. How much were the toothbrushes?

If they were 2.99 each (8.97 for three), and the wags coupon subtracted $2 each (now 2.97 for three), the first two $1 off coupons subtracted $2 (total now .97), the last $1 coupon wouldn't scan because it was more than the total.

I ran into this issue with the Reese's pb cups (remember all those great coupons?) last year.

  4. em - the toothbrushes were $3.99 each so with the $6 Wags coupon and $3 in printables I still would have paid $2.97 for 3 so that wasnt the problem. Maybe I just had a bad printable that wouldnt scan. I went in thinking they were $2.99. If I would have been thinking right I wouldnt have even tried the deal because I hate paying anything for toothbrushes, I ended up paying .99 each for the 2 I got.

  5. That's strange. I hate paying for toothbrushes too. When I saw your comment, I thought I was missing a great free toothbrush deal.

I had a similar transaction this week on the Reach floss. I bought 2 at 3.99 each, used the $2 wags coupon, a B1G1 manf coupon. I tried to use a $2 manf coupon as well, but the cashier wouldn't let me. Then she put in the value of the free item as 1.99 instead of 3.99. I thought this would be a moneymaker or a break-even, but I ended up paying $1 each for floss.

Walgreens is making me mad again. The cashiers don't seem to realize they get reimbursed for coupons and try to do whatever they can to keep you from using them.

  6. Hi CJ & em - Walgreens is better than it used to be before they published their coupon policy, but there is still problems using coupons.

  7. Jeri - The Wags cashier looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told her there was a coupon policy on the Walgreens website. I dont understand why their supervisors cant pass along such simple instructions as how to reduce coupons. We shouldnt have to tell the cashiers how to do their jobs. I wish the Wags registers would just reduce coupons automatically like Target's does now.

  8. Hi CJ - Even at the Walgreens I love and has a coupon friendly manager and employees, they all acted like they didn't know the policy existed.

Targets new system works great for some coupons, but from what I've heard it has lots of problems with coupons for a free items and coupons for multiple items. That might be even worse at Walgreens.
