If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been awhile:1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons
If you buy something at Aldi you are not please with, they have a double guarantee. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will replace the product AND refund your money. More info HERE.
I used the Aldi Russet potatoes (on sale last week for $1.29/10 lbs) for my mashed potatoes this year and they were delicious! I had never used any potatoes from them but I was very impressed. I may pick some more up this week (not quite as good of a price, but still good)!
ReplyDeleteHi Courtney - I purchased the potatoes too and were very pleased with them, but the potatoes I purchased a month or so ago, I wasn't happy at all.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to inspect the produce closely before you buy. It can be hit or miss. They will let you return your purchas if you're not pleases.
Have you bought any pineapples? The pineapples I bought last week were the best we had ever had. I bought two more this week - I hope they are as good.
Am also glad that the potatoes are good. Still got some left from the bag we bought. :)
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteJust curious why the 4lb bag of oranges for 1.49
was not considered a good buy. Do you know anywhere they are cheaper. I bought some last night. Good quality.
Hi Anonymous - I'm not sure I understand your question. I think 4lb. of oranges for $1.49 in St Louis is a good buy.
