Post Dispatch Coupon Preview - 11/21/10

Sunday's St Louis Post-Dispatch has only one coupon insert - SmartSource plus a few coupons in Parade Magazine.

Note: I picked up a paper this morning at the new South City CVS (Gravois/Chippewa) and itt still rang up for $1.50.  Last week, the new CVS in Creve Couer also had them at this price. All other CVS's in the area are selling the Sunday Post Dispatch for $2.00.

A few if my favorite coupons this week:

Smart Source
  • $15 off Philips Sonicare FlexCare+ or FlexCare Rechargeable Toothbrush
  • $2 off Purina Dog Chow or Puppy Chow
  • $1 off Energizer Batteries
  • $1 off Starbucks Ice Cream
  • $1 off Starbucks Coffee
  • $1 off Kraft Shredded Cheese w/ a Touch of Philadelphia
  • $1 off Wonderful Pistachios
  • .40 off Betty Crocker Cookie Mix
Parade Magazine
  • $2 off any Triaminic Fever Reducer Product
  • $2 off any Comtrex Product
  • $2 off 4-Way Nasal Spray Product
  • $3 off 2 Triaminic Products
  • $1 off 2 Kellogg's Fiber Plus Cereal
Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my investment.

Sam's Club is still selling the Sunday Post-Dispatch at a reduced price, $1.50. Dollar Tree and DEAL$ no longer sell the paper.

  1. It is a ho hum week for coupons. Do you know if we will get a coupon insert on Thursday as a bonus?

  2. I heard on the radio that Sam Club has a sign up promo going on right now. Join and you receive a $10 card/certificate to use on Black Friday.

Coupons, except the occasional single, in a weekday paper is ancient history. In the good old days, the St. Louis Variety Club insert use to be in the Sunday P-D and also the Wednesday 'free' Journal.

  3. The Post-Dispatch continues to hate me - no coupons in my paper this morning. At least they answered the phone today and said they will bring another pack of ads tomorrow.

  4. Remember those coupons on page A-2 for a freebie in Sunday P-D. Kim's Pizza is now part of the P-D Deal is On. Unlike chicken and steak, the profit margin on both the store and the restuarant pizza is very high.

    B$25 card for $10

  5. Man CJ you have more problems getting your coupons. Doesn't do much to complain to the PD though. Even the papers in the store don't always have them. I have to look through them every week to make sure I get them.
