Trade your Register Rewards for $5 off $50 Shop 'n Save Coupons

The St Louis edition of the Entertainment Book includes (6) $5 off $50 Shop 'n Save coupons.  You can use one of these coupons on a $10 off $50 Thursday when you purchase right at $50 of groceries - this give you a 30% discount before manufacturers coupon.  I've saved a ton of money at Shop 'n Save using Entertainment Book coupons.

Walgreens has a $10 off the Entertainment Book coupon in this week's ad (good through 11/6) Use this coupon to pick up an Entertainment Book for $25.  If you have grown your Register Rewards with money-making deals, it's the perfect time to spend them - on an Entertainment Book.

Remember at Walgreens, the total amount of manufacturer coupons/Register Rewards cannot exceed the number of items in the transaction.  If your using more than one Register Reward, pick up an inexpensive item per every additional RR.  Individual pieces of Halloween Candy should be at least 50% off this week.  They would make a great inexpensive filler.

Also, check with the CVS you shop at.  Some CVS's will accept competitor coupons.  If yours will, use the Walgreens in ad coupon for $10 off an Entertainment Book and a $5 off $20 CVS coupon in this past Sunday's Post-Dispatch plus any ECBs you've earned (no fillers needed at CVS) to pick a book up for very little money if not for free.

  1. Does anyone know of a local CVS that will take competitor's coupons on the Entertainment Books?

  2. Hi KC - The manager of the South City store Gravios/Germania told me they would awhile back. But, I know he has moved to a differnet store. I'm not sure where.

It never hurts to ask before you shop. Tell them you had heard some times CVS's took competitor coupons and you were wondering if their store did too. The worst they can say is no.

  3. I also have a $5 off an entertainment book coupon from a paper insert, although it may have been from my mom (from s. IL). Does anyone else have this coupon, I have misplaced mine (put it somewhere where I would be sure not to lose it!) and I am wondering if it will work with the walgreens coupon and therefore worth it to tear the house up looking for it. Anyone else have this coupon and plan to use it with the walgreens one?

  4. Hi Megan - Don't tear the house apart looking for it. There was a $5 off coupon in the 10/10 RP, but it expired on 10/30.

I'm sure your coupon is with all my stuff I put somewhere so I don't lose it - never to be seen again.

  5. Thank you very much! I hate when I do that, you would think I would have learned by now! Ok, thanks for the expiration date, I will not tear the house apart!

  6. I went to WAGs at 10:30 on Sat and used the IVC for Wags that began on Sunday and the MFG $5 coupon that expired Sat, and their register was programmed to take the IVC already, so I got the book for $20. I was a little peturbed to see the book was $35 (reg price) at wags, when SNS is selling it for $30 (reg price). But whatever. I feel like I got a good deal.

  7. Hi couponmama - Thanks for letting us know the "early" deal worked. It's not just Walgreens that is selling the book for $35, CVS is too.

  8. There is a local school that got some without the front extra coupons so they were selling them for $20. I don't know if they still have any left, but will find out and post here the details if they do!

  9. Hi Tonya - Is the SNS coupons considered some of the front extra coupons?
