Walgreens Deals - Week of 11/28/10

Sale prices good  - November 28 - December 4, 2010

This is the first of two ads this week.  The second ad will be good Wednesday through Saturday.

You can now print Walgreens in-ad and Monthly Coupon Book coupons at home.  I've included links in my post.

I don't like to spend any more money on ink and paper than I have to, but I like the idea of  printing these coupons at home.   This way,  I will have all my coupons together before I head to the store - I tend to forget the Walgreens coupons when I get there.

I highlight only the best deals. Take a look at Walgreens' full ad HERE.

  1. I am confused. The ad says 11/28 to 12/4. Is there another ad coming out on Wednesday?

  4. Did we not get the Domino Sugar coupon here in St. Louis? I see you put regional, but I didn't know which region you meant. I checked my 11/14 RP and only found coupons for C&H sugar.
Thanks for putting these together, it's always such a big help. I did a market research study where they went w/ me when I shopped. I told then don't go shopping until I check your site!

  5. Hi Jenny - We didn't get the Domino Sugar coupon in the Post-Dispatch.

I have 5 bloggers from around the country who with my permission (and some without) that pick up part of my Walgreens post. I'm trying to figure out how to be all things for all people. I'm not quite sure how to accomplish that.

At this point a "regional coupon" is a coupon that wasn't in the Post-Dispatch. I don't get the free Journal delivered in my neighborhood, so I never know what additional coupons are in that paper.

    I'm sorry if it's confusing.

How fun to go shopping with a market researcher!

  6. About the kids manual toothbrushes for $1.99, the coupon in my 10/31 P&G says for power toothbrushes. Can this still be used for the manual toothbrushes? If not, there is also a $1.00 coupon for Oral-B manual toothbrush in same insert.

  7. Hi Patty - My mistake on the Kids toothbrushes 10/31 P&G coupon. If it says power toothbrushes it shouldn't be used for manual ones. If I'm reading the other coupon correctly (obviously I don't always) it is for other types of Oral-B manuals.

  8. Jeri, The Folgers deal is a $1/2 coupon in the December book. It is not a RR.

  9. Hi Nancy - Thanks! I do these match-up from ad scans. I need to look at the fine print better. I hope it didn't mess up your purchase.

  10. The ENTERTAINMENT coupon books are CHEAPER on-line (I think - please confirm Ms. Jeri!). I got an e-mail today from entertainment.com that they are $10 off and Free shipping - buy a second (or more) and each additional book is just $15. BUT if you go to eBates.com FIRST then click through to Entertainment.com, eBates will give you 35% cash back!! This drops the price of the first book to $16.25 and additional books to $9.75 each. A good deal??
    Thanks!
    Debra

  11. Hi Debra - the Entertainment Book is cheaper online, but you cannot use Register Rewards to purchase them. If you are just paying the price at Walgreens, then yes - I would order online instead. But, if you have RRs to use - get it at Walgreens.
Also, as the year progresses - the Entertainment book online price will get better and better (until stock is depleted). If you have enough SNS coupons to last a little while, you might want to hold out on buying extras now. I beleive I purchased mine for $5 each after Cashbaq discount online last year. Just an idea.

  12. Andrea - THANKS so much! I will hold off and keep my eye on the Entertainment Books as the year goes on. I have SNS coupons aplenty for now. I am new to couponing (since around Sept.) and have learned so much from this blog and its wonderful readers (like you!)
    Cheers,
    Debra

  14. Hi Debra - Purchasing an Entertainment book through ebates isn't a bad price, but I'm like Andrea. I don't pay for them. I try to grow my RR or ECB's and spend them on Entertainment books. Both Walgreens and CVS tend to have some good money-makers in the fall and even if I don't need the products, I purchase them to grown my stash of RR and ECBs.

    Thanks, Anrea!
