We wouldn't of had anything in the house to eat, resorted to carry out or deliver, or if one of us got to the store it would have been grab whatever is quick and easy. We would have spent a ton of extra money.
Now, I had my menu planned for the week - no shopping necessary. I can still plan at least another week with what we have in the pantry or freezer. Life goes on as usual.

I could have spent a little less out of pocket, if I would have split my shopping into two transactions, and spent my ECB from the Coke on the pizza. But it would have left me with no ECB's. It's too much fun to roll ECBs and spend very little if anything to start completely over. Before sales & coupons: $52.91

For those who don't read my blog on a regular basis, my splurge funds are the difference between what I've actually spent and my $50 budget. I use it for those items I never find on sale, don't have coupons for, or when I'm over budget.
I love your blog!
