  1. I posted this in the $5 scenario comments as well...

Here's a couple of great updates to stretch your dollars even farther at Wags this week...

    There's a Wags Q for $1 off Colgate Total Advance in the outer Holiday/Winter 2011 D&Y booklet (expires 2/28/11, so hurry!) AND a MQ for $1 off any Colgate Total toothpaste in the larger D&Y (expires 3/31/11). $2.99 - $1 WQ - $1 MQ = $.99 OOP, receive a $2.99 RR, $2 MM. =)

There's also $6 off any two participating products Q (Motrin PM pictured) in the 1/9 SS (J&J) insert. Buy two Motrin PM for $6 - $6 MQ = $0 OOP, receive a $3 RR for a $3 MM!

What a great week at Wags! Now if they'd just put the Entertainment Books on sale again, I'm almost out of SNS Qs!

  2. Thanks, Staci - I missed all that Wags coupon in the D&Y magazine. Thanks!

I put off posted about the Motrin PM until I found out what was happening on Sunday. The ad only mentions IB, but it pictures PM. I'm hoping the PM works too.

  3. Jeri-
Just did the Motrin PM deal and it worked. The sale sign wasnt on the 20 count product but had them scan at the register and it was $3. I needed the stuff too:) Happy Shopping today!!!!

  4. Hi All,

I too can confirm the Motrin is working. =)

Jeri-I should have mentioned when I placed the special order for the Motrin(2 weeks ago) the Manager double cked for me to make sure it was the PM that was included. HTH

  5. Hi Jenn & Janet - Thanks for the update!

  6. I couldn't find the regular Motrin in 20 ct. Is that included in the sale? I really needed that:(
Btw, the 2 Walgreens by my house were wiped out of the Motrin PM by 11am. The checkout gal said people were buying them since the doors opened. My competition is getting big in OFallon. lol!

  7. Hi Jenn - I didn't notice about regular Motrin, but my store didn't have any a place for Motrin IB 20 count. I'm thinking this offer is just form PM. But, I could be worng.

  8. Another good deal this week is the Cottonelle Fresh wipes. Use the in ad coupon + $1 off coupon from Cottonelle's website to make them .99. Then there's also a register reward, not sure of the details, but I bought 2 & received a $1.50 RR, so only .25 a box.

  9. Hi Ellen,

TYVM for the Cottonelle Fresh wipes RR info. =)

  10. I didnt know about the $1 printable on Cottonelle's site but had 2 $1/2 printables from somewhere else so I got 4 tubs for .75 each. Still a great stock up price. If I can get the $1 to print I'll go back for more. There is a Box Top on the bottom of the wrapper for anyone who collects those.

  11. Frustrated the RR isn't working on the Vicks. I skipped the P&G insert that had the $4 coupons in Dec. so I've been seeing this deal and wishing I had the coupon. Now that I do, it's not working.
    Darn the luck!

  13. Went first thing this am and wow...definite competition in the O'fallon/LSL area! Went to 3 stores and did great. Wonderful week to save at Wags this week!
I did find that prices vary from store to store on a few items (Listerine Zero, Thermacare) which I found odd since they were literally within a few miles of each other.

  14. I have a question about some items on sale and possibly using a BOGO coupon. For example Gillette deodorant and body wash are buy one get one 50% off in store and I have a coupon for buy one deodorant get one body wash free. Am I able to double up on this somehow to get the deodorant for half off and the body wash free?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Same as with the secret, it's bogo 50% off in store and I have a bunch of those buy 2 get one free coupons

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hi All

Thanks, LeAnn for the Cottonelle info.

Anonymous - Yes, regular prices to vary between stores. By chance, was the store across the street from other retailers have the lowest prices?

Twin Mom - I'm not sure I can answer your question about the Gillette products and the coupons. It somewhat depends on how they are rining up at Walgreens (both full price with discount at the bottom, or 1 at full price and 2nd 1/2)

But, Gillette goes on sale often. I'm not sure the B1G1 50% off if a very good deal to begin with. You might do better using those coupons elsewhere with a better sale.

What's every one elses opinion on this?

  17. The Motrin IB 20 count wasn't with the other Motrin products at one store I checked...they were out though :(

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi Rachelstl - Wow! I couldn't find any Mortin IB 20 ct. at the several stores I stopped at. All they had were 24 ct.

  19. I don't think it is just O'Fallon or LSL that is selling out...this was just a great week at Wags!

  20. Hi All,

Wanted to give those who buy the Entertainment Books a heads up- they will be -$20 off w/In Ad coupon the week of 3/13 =) HTH

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wanted to mention that the Theraflu that is $4.99 qualifies this week for the Try Me Free Rebate that was in the 2/13 SS. You can probably combo that with the coupon and make it a MM.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I haven't found the Motrin at all this week & have only found 1 store that had the grape juice. It was a good week just wish I could of found more stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I did this deal:
    Welch's 100% Grape Juice (64 oz) - $2/$6
    $1 - 2/13/11 SS (use 2)
and use $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon in March Coupon Book
Final price: $1.50 each wyb 2

the other day & it was fine then tonight I tried again & it wouldn't accept the 2nd $1.00 manf coupon & the cashier called the manager who said it was because the walgreens coupon is a manf coupon which we all know isn't. I was so mad, but said then take it off & I will go to a different Walgreens that will accept my coupons. OMG I love CVS so much more everytime I run into a problem at Walgreens!!

  24. Hi All,

Just an FYI-If you have plenty of the -$6/2 Motrin/Tylenol coupons to use, I have been "buying" the Tylenol Precise pain patches. The Back ones are ringing up B1G1 50% off sooooo this comes out to Free back patches:

6 Tylenol Precise Back Pain Patches =$23.94
    -$18.00 in MQs
-$6.00 for the 50% off discount

I had plenty of other items to use the $.06 overage on so no beeps.

The Tylenol Precise Arm/Neck patches are the same price $3.99 but are not ringing up B1G1 50% off. So they come out to $.99 ea for 2 after coupon. And they have a pain cream.

    HTH =)

  25. Hi Rachelstl - I had a long discussion with a Walgreens manager yesterday about if Walgreens coupons in the monthly book are Manf. or store coupons.

This is a manager I've gotten to know well and isn't anti-coupons. My conclusion is they get no training or how coupons really work from corporate. When the register won't accept a coupon, they (Walgreens managers/employees) assume you can't use it and come up with some reason, correct or not.

The conversation got cut short. (I had to go pick up my son from school) but I told him I would bring some coupons back it next week and we would "test" a few things.

I don't know why this seems to be an issue again. Before Walgreens published their coupon policy, it seemed to happen fairly often. I hadn't heard this exuse for some time.

It is always an adventure shopping at Walgreens.
