Updated Walmart Coupon Policy

Walmart has updated their new  Coupon Policy.   There are a few changes concerning Catalina coupons.

The biggest clarifications:

• Accept: checkout coupons ("Catalinas") printed at our competitors'  registers for dollar/cents of on a specific item
• DO NOT accept: Checkout coupons for dollars/cents off the entire basket purchase 

I'm not surprised they have clarified which Catalina/Register Reward coupons they will accept.  I spent some time following Walmart Facebook page when they first published the previous policy. 

I could tell the person answering questions, had no idea what a Catalina/Register Reward for Off Your Next Order was.  And, I could only guess the person making the decisions about Walmarts coupon policy was had never seen one either.

Even with this change, Walmart coupon policy is one of the most generous and clear policy out there.
