Counterfeit Coupon Alert - $2/2 Johnson & Johnson Products

If you have the above coupon, $2/2 Listerine Antiseptic Mouthwash, Staryfee, Carefee, Zyretec, Aveeno, Band-Aid or Neosporin Products DESTROY IT NOW!

Coupon Information Corporation (CIC) has added this coupon to it's list of counterfeit coupons

I have no idea what actually happened with this coupon. The site I printed from looked every bit like a legitimate source (bricks.coupons.com).  But, it doesn't matter at this time - the coupon is on the counterfeit list.

Thanks for the heads up - ArmyMomx2!

  2. I checked mine thru Veri-fy and it says mine is valid according to the number under the top bar code. Sounds like what happened was that the original Bricks coupons were valid and some have since been copied so they are making all of them "counterfeit" even if they were printed legally and were valid to begin with, which isnt fair :( I used 1 at Target a few weeks ago and it rang up as $2 added to my bill so CS gave me the money back for that but I still paid $1.87 for the 2 packs of BandAids so Target isnt out any money if it is a counterfeit coupon.

  3. Hi CJ - I hope we find out what actually happened here. I was reading commnets on Hip2save's post about this coupon and it sounds like it was adding instead of decuting the $2 on lots of people bill.

I have a felling this coupon was messed up from the begining.

  4. Jeri - I actually more bummed now that I realize I paid for the BandAids, because Target CS only refunded the amount they overcharged me and didnt take off any for the coupon. I'm glad Target isnt out any money for my coupon, but I'm going to return the BandAids because I only wanted them if they were free, which they turned out not to be. I hate that one person copying a coupon can screw things up for everyone else.

  5. There's a typo on my coupons: "face balue" instead of "face value."

This is all just too weird. I just won't use mine to be safe. I haven't lost anything - just a little ink and paper!

  6. Is that the coupon that was charging people $2 when scanned?

  7. I tore mine up earlier this afternoon. It will be very interesting when they figure out how they did this.

Hi 3LittleMonkeys - I don't think we will ever know what happened in this situation.
