ReplyDeleteHi Jeri! Just got back from CVS and I did score big. I had other things that I wanted besides the Air Wick. If you saw my stock pile on them it isn't pretty. I got the tide stain release that was on sale for 3.99 and I had 3.00 off coupons that I got in the tp (sensitive) from Target. This trip was a mm.
ReplyDeleteI had a crappy trip to CVS today. Should have gone yesterday instead of waiting for the $5/40 coupon today that I wasnt able to use because they were out most of the ECB items. I drove myself crazy looking for my Mentos coupon at the register and found after I got home it must have been in the stack I handed over because it was on my receipt. No Complete on the shelves but the cashier magically produced one from behind the counter, then forgot to put it in my bag and he tracked me down in the parking lot while I was talking to myself-I probably looked like a crazy person! I was distracted the whole trip by a baby that was continuously crying (my apologies to all the moms here but I cant stand to hear kids scream when I'm shopping). I ended up grabbing stuff I didnt really need just to use up ECBs that were about to expire. Hope my next trip goes better.

ReplyDeleteNicole - I was checking out at the Lindbergh store at 11:55, were you the lady next to me having trouble with the $5/20 coupon? Your baby was adorable, I was just having a lousy day and peeved about them being out of everything. Sorry I didnt know you were a Coupon STLer, I would have loved to have chatted with you. Maybe we can meet someday under better circumstances!
ReplyDeleteI was just having trouble finding items to get to $20 and then the manager was giving me grief over my $2/2 Mars IP coupon and rainchecks. I was also irritated that they were out of everything! I was totally frazzled by my 1 year old crying and my 3 year old asking to buy everything. Plus my manager cashier was not in the best of moods! I need to stop shopping close to nap time.
ReplyDeleteNicole - I get frazzled shopping by myself, I cant imagine trying to do it with small kids. I need to not shop too soon after I wake up, I was way too cranky this morning! I hope CVS is better for both of us next week.
ReplyDeleteCVS was out of everything when I went there also. I had my trip planned using almost all rainchecks. I forgot to get rainchecks for the things this week though.

ReplyDeleteNicole - I can't imagine how hard it is to coupon shop with little one. I know how hard it is with Hubby and my teens - they still ask to buy everything :) If you had a less than polite manager to deal with, you should contact corporate.
