  1. I was at an O'Fallon, MO Walgreen's today and didn't see this sign... Wonder if it's just not posted, or if it's a store-by-store thing? It says 'participating' products, so I didn't know how to verify without making a big deal...

  2. Hi Anonymous - I've been to two stores, one had the sign I posted in the picture and the other didn't. I asked the store without the signage to do a price check or me and yes, they rang up for $3.

It's not uncommon for some Walgreens to be very good about putting the sale/RR signage up and others not so much. Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith when you seen the deals blogged about. The worst thing that can happen is that it doesn't work, and then you return the product.

  4. Hi Anonymous - If you return something you used a coupon on, you will get the full price back, since the store is keeping your coupon and getting reinbursed for it.

  5. Jeri...unfortunately not all stores give the full price back. I have run into problems at Walgreens (and others) even when it was a RR that I used when an item didn't ring up. Kmart is also bad about this. The wags manager said because I only paid $0.27 for everything she could not give me the full price back and offered me $0.27. Needless to say I had to spend an extra 15 minutes of my life explaining why that wasn't appropriate. She finally relented but I it is not always smooth returning.

  6. Hi Anonymous - Some retailers are harder to deal with. I think this is becuase I've heard of people purposly buying itmes with coupons and then returning them to get full price back.

But, the store did keep the coupon and are getting reinbursed for the coupon value.
