  1. Jeri - Thanks for the OEP catalina info!

  2. Jeri,

If the OEP works the same as last time, you would get back two $3.00 cats for meat. And, it is pluots, not Plutos. That always makes me chuckle because I think of the Disney dog. :-)

  3. Good Morning to All,

Hi Jeri, Just wanted to let you know I did do the OEP deal yesterday. Bought 6 seasonings and did receive the $3 Meat Cat. It is a Store Coupon so can only be used at Schnucks. Not sure what you are meaning by getting 2 $3 Cats? Last time when we had an OEP deal there was a seperate GM deal in which we received the double cats-I do not think it will happen this time. But the $3 Meat Cat will come in handy, the one I received yesterday is good til 10/10. HTH. =)

  4. @Rhonda

So I can't capitalize the name of "that" fruit. I don't even know what plutos are. Help, foodie Rhonda!

Is the OEP catalina for any kind of meat this time?

  5. @Janet

Hi Janet - Do you know if the only products triggering the Cat are shells, seasonings and beans?

The ad says see store for more details, I was really hoping green chiles would be included in the Cat.

  6. I tried to do the OEP deal and my cat didn't print. I took it to CS and they handed me $3. Even better :)

  7. I found a mail-in tearpad at Schnucks the other day for "Build a Better Taco". Buy any 3 Mission Foods products (flour or corn tortillas, dips, or chips) and mail in the form and receipt for a $5 Schnucks gift card. Good this week only. 9/26-10/2, must be received by 10/7.

  8. @Marcella

I agree - even better. For some reason I've been to CS everytime I've bought Catalina deals lately at Schnucks. They always fix my problem, but it does take some extra time.

  9. @JB

Thanks, JB! I hope this form easier to find than the ConAgra one last week. Do you need the form or can you submit the info without it?

  10. Jeri,

Pluots are a cross between an apricot and a dark plum. They are actually very sweet and very tender fruit. We like them. And, actually if you travel the food stands in Calhoun county Illinois you can score a peck for cheap. They are grown locally there.

  11. Jeri,
I don't see anything about sending in your info on a card or anything, so I think you have to have the form. Also, it says something about a recipe contest in part 1 (the GC deal is part 2), so if you see that you have the right form.

  12. Tried the OEP cat this morning. I bought: soft shells (the smaller ones), refried beans, seasoning mix, and the cheesy/salsa dip.

    - As mentioned above it is a STORE coupon and prints after the 6th coupon is scanned.

    - It does NOT stack (buying 12 items only generated ONE cat)

    - Coupon states $3 off your next meat department purchase.

    - Has 2 week expiration.

  13. Scenario for the Mission rebate - the 8 inch 12 count flour tortilla packs are $1.99 and most have .55 peelies. Buy 3 for $5.97 and use 3 peelies for a .68 money maker after the $5 gift card. There may also be $1 printables on Mission's website and/or Facebook page.

  14. Jeri - I didnt see any signs at Schnucks today for the OEP catalina that listed products. Also no more Deal-icious coupon booklets at my store. I wish I would have grabbed a couple extras last week.

  15. @Rhonda

Thanks, for the foodie lesson. I know why I've never heard of them. I can't say anyone in the family like apricots or plum, but I might have to pick some up and they can be the "new food of the week".

We used to have the new food of the week often when the kids were little.

  16. @JB

Thanks, I might have seen that form at my store, but I didn't read part two was a giftcard deal.

  17. My Diebergs had the coupon books the other day, right when you walk in, hope this helps.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sarah - Thanks, I knew I'd seen them somewhere a few days ago but I can never remember what I see at which stores! I'll check Dierbergs on Friday and hopefully still be able to do the OEP catalina at Schnucks.
For the Schnucks Mission rebate, prices arent the same at every Schnucks. Tortillas were $2.69 at the Concord Village store today and $1.99 at the Kirkwood location. Only corn and flour tortillas, chips and dips are included in the rebate. I bought tostadas by mistake and had to make a return trip to get the tortillas.

  19. @CJ

Did you ask the Concord Village store to do a price check? The store I shop sometimes dosen't get all the sale price tags up.

  21. Anyone know if the OEP cat works at all Schnucks? Champaign-Urbana ad does not have the Catalina deal printed with the on-sale items. Haven't checked yet to see if it is posted in store.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @Anonymous

Thanks, Eve! I've posted a few of the picutres/coupons you sent today. I can't seem to keep up with my to-do list. For every one item I mark off I'm adding at least two more items. But, that's a good thing. Lots of good coupons and deals out there today.

  23. @Kim

Hi Kim - I heard from a reader in Rockford and the OEP cat worked there and she didn't have it advertised in her ad either. But, it does not stack.

    ReplyDelete
  24. It does roll though... If you use one in transaction when you purchase more OEP, you still get another $3 cat.

Thanks for heads up on the tearpads! I'll be on the lookout~
