  5. Does anyone know how many of the Kraft deal you can stack in one transaction? Also, how does this affect the $50 needed for $10 off on Thursday since that $5 comes off before the end of the transaction? I'm still trying to figure out the SNS coupon deal... Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  6. What a great list Jeri! Thank you so much!

    ReplyDelete
  7. @Janet

Thanks your for the early look. It helps a bunch to get started

    @Rachel

I added Beech-Nut to my price check list. I hopefully, am going to get there late this afternoon, so I can also pick up Chocolate Chips.

It's been many years since I've bought Baby Food. Which stage do you need the price for, or are they all priced the same?

    @Shelley

Istant Savings does not affect your total for the $10 off $50. $10 is deducted when you hit $50 dollars and then the $5 Instant savings is decucted when the cashier hits total.

I don't know if the Kraft deals stacks. I'll try and find out.

  8. When I was at Schnucks in Edwarsdville over the weekend, I found a tearpad with $3/3 chex cereals (expires 3/12) on a display near the fish counter. This would make the cereal around 30 cents/box on Thursday at SNS.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hi Jeri!

If you get a chance, can you double check the price on Kraft parmesan cheese (I thought that it was $2.88 according to the shelf tag)?

I found a tearpad at Schnucks with a $1 off Kraft parmesan on a cardboard display stand in the produce section. =)

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Wow what a list. Thanks again Jeri for all of the hours you have spent getting it all together. Gonna be a fun day of shopping.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanx Jeri for you hard work!!!! Anyone ever tried the FLAVRPAC veggies? We had a bad experience lately with Schnucks brand 'steamfresh' peas. Eve

  12. Good Afternoon to All.

I stopped by SNS to place an order for this week, ask a couple questions and do some price cking.

First the Kraft Instant Does Not stack, SD rang 20 items and only 1 $5 Instant came off. Next a couple things I noted while there.

Coke Products 4/$14 -$2 In Store MQ 4/$12
Pepsi Products 4/$13.78 -$2 In Store MQ 4/$11.78
    Beechnut jars Stage 1 $.50 others $.56
    Beechnut Stage 2 1/2 Textured $.72
    Beechnut juice $.68
    Betty Crocker Frosting 3/$5
    M & Ms singles $.70

And a Huge Thank you to everyone for their input.

    Have a Great Day.

  13. @Anonymous

Hi - In my former life (before couponing) I used to always buy Flav-R-Pac or Westpak veggies. They ony had the 1 lb. pacakages then and they were nothing fancy, just your basic frozen veggie. I was please with them for the price.

    ReplyDelete
  14. @Janet

Thanks for testing if Kraft stacked and for the price check. I'll be getting a price check post and match-ups togeather tomorrow. I'll add them to the post.

  18. The Kahiki entrees are on sale for $5 and there is a $1.50 coupon that is good until the end of the year.

Also, I think there is a OM bacon coupon in the Dierbergs ad that would make the bacon a pretty good deal.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @JB

Woo Hoo! for the OM Bacon coupon.

Kahiki Entrees are included in the Stocking Stuffer rebate. Do you know if the Nuggets are on sale too. They are usually on sale at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yes, I think the Kahiki nuggets were included as well.

I just read and realized it says in the yellow box that whole hams are not included in the $10/$50. That is definitely going to change my plan.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @JB

Good catch on Whole Hams excluded on $10/$50. I should have thought of that. I't like what they did at Thanksgiving with Turkeys.

I've yet to get out to do my price check. I'm assuing Hams will match Schnucks prices, but I'll double check.

    ReplyDelete
  22. There's a $1.25 off 3 Kraft dessert brands coupon in the Deliciously Simple Holiday Recipes book that I've seen on a Jello Display at Schnucks. Philadelphia Cream cheese is included in these items. Would make for for an even better deal on cream cheese on Thurs.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Just did the math. Crazy good deal on cream cheese... Am I correct in thinking it would be .08 each??

    ReplyDelete
  24. Just to warn you about the Chex deal. I believe that the price of the third Chex box will come off as soon as it is scanned. So, don't count the price of the third box in the $50 total.

    ReplyDelete
  25. does anyone know the prices of:
    coffeemate powder creamer
    smaller cans >3oz folgers coffee?

    ReplyDelete
  26. If anyone knows the price of kibbles n bits dog food it would be very much appreciated!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Can someone please price check a 20lb bag of Purina Dog food? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I meant to say 20lb bag of Purina Dog Chow, the green bag. Thanks!

  29. If anyone's running a price check today I'd love to know the price on Celestial Seasonings Tea and on the small packets of NesQuick. Also does anyone know what exactly the deal is on the free Wehrenberg ticket?

I also heard someone mention a Tombstone catalina. Any specifics on that?

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hi Alll - I just posted my pirce check if you haven't seen it. I hope to get back to SNS today and will look for the other products people have mentioned.

Thanks everyone for the coupon sighting from Schnucks. I might have to run through Schnucks this afternnoon also.

    @Staci

The shelf price of Kraft Parmeson was $2.88 when I was at the store last night too.

    @Amanda

I figure the final cost of Philly Cream Cheese to be $0.08 also. Crazy good deal if you have found that coupons. Now, what do we do with that much cream cheese?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Teresa,
The Celestial tea is $2.50, I believe until the end of the year.

    Alice,
I have always found with these instant deals, the free item comes off my total right away, but I have always had it count toward my $50 anyway.

  32. Here's a recipe I found to use the cream cheese and the oreos that are on sale... Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Cupcakes. I've got them in the oven now and can't wait.

  33. Good Afternoon to All,

I did some more price cking and will post in SNS Price Ck Jeri posted.

Thanks for the Instant Off info JB =)

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Teresa

Wow! Those Oreo Cupcakes look extra yummy. Did they taste as good as they looked?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hi All,

I am not even going to look at those Oreo Cupcakes hehehehehehehe. But I have been making a very simple cheesecake with the Philly I purchased last time around.

Also I hope some of you saved a $10 ConAgra Cat from last week, it will help bring your Ham cost down. I will type up my plan in a little while. Gotta get the boys fed. =)

    ReplyDelete
  36. I have 2 x $10 ConAgra Cats from last week to help off set the cost of my ham. My MIL & BIL requested some Ritz crackers so I came up with this plan. And of course it includes some V8 =)

    10 Ritz $18.70
    30 V8 $22.20
    5 B/C Cake Mix $3.40
    5 B/C Frosting $8.35
    Ham Est. $18.00
    =$70.65
    -$15 Thursday disc & EBQ
    -$5 Kraft Instant
    -$5 $1/2 Nabisco Crackers
    -$22.20 V8
    -$5 $1/2 B/C cake & frosting
    -$10 ConAgra Cat
    =$8.45 + tax

Now if I want to add @ $2 produce or something I can bring that total up to over $10 and use my second $10 ConAgra Cat and come out spending under $1 + tax for all items. =)

Does that come out ok, did I miss something or make any mistakes? It's been a long week so far and I think I been thinking to much =)

I hope everyone has a Great Shopping day tomorrow and hopefully we will not have packed stores like before Thanksgiving.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Nesquick small packs are $0.88

    ReplyDelete
  38. Thanks for the price check. The cheesecake cupcakes were yummy and a big hit. Planning to pick up more cupcake liners tomorrow so I can make more for the holidays.

  39. just got done with my trips...cashier couldnt find the ham form. is it at service desk or tear-off pad??

    ReplyDelete
  40. I did my first round of shopping ay midnight....saved 75% even without cats or ent-book q. There were peelies on several Ritz crackers for $1/1 Nabisco cracker AND one KRaft cheese or Philly cream cheese. My store was very well-stocked that I could tell. I got lo everything else to host an extended family of 7 for a week! Eve

    ReplyDelete
  41. I did a midnight trip and got everything I wanted to get, including 8 packages of bacon. They were very well stocked so I didn't feel bad about buying so much. I used 4 of the Oscar Meyer coupons from the Dierberg's ad, but the cashier was very hesitant about giving it to me (even though it's a manufacturer's coupon and doesn't state a limit.) Ended up paying about $50 for about $100 worth of groceries, so not too bad for only my second ever Coupon Thursday :-)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Just noticed that the coupons.com site has 2 cpns, not one, for chex. The original $1/2 boxes of chex, and another $1/2 boxes of general mills cereals - which includes chex. So you don't need 2 computers to buy 12 boxes. (2 of each of the 3 cpns, including the boxtops.com one) Thought someone would like to know!

    ReplyDelete
  43. @laurie

Hi Laurie - Are you talking about the rebate on fresh pork? If your store dosn't know what you were asking for, I would conact the Corporate Customer Service or even leave a message on their Faceook wall.

Eve & Susie - I love to hear about the midnight runs to SNS. Great shopping!

Anonymous - Thanks for catching that second Chex coupon.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The Fenton store had a ton of Oscar Mayer bacon last night, so hopefully those of you who missed out last time will have better luck today.

    ReplyDelete
  45. FYI, the Kraft deal just auto deducted the $5 w/o displaying on the screen. It prints on your receipt. I saw some other shoppers asking about it during their transactions this morning (and the cashier was confused, too). Also saw a tear pad (at Maplewood) for $1/2 Keebler Toasteds - so I'm all stocked up on crackers for the holidays...

    ReplyDelete
  46. Is there a Field Notes yet?

I found boxes of Kellog's cereal that have peelies: Get a free bag of MnMs (9.9-12.6 oz, up to $3.49) wyb 2 Cocoa Krispies, Rice Krispies, Crispix and/or Corn Flakes, any size/flavor.
Makes the Kellogg's cereals a bit easier to buy.

Also, I found out the hard way that the BIG kraft slices don't count to the $5 off, only the 16 oz american singles. But my CS person was awesome. She refunded the BIG, sold the american singles, added the $5, and I ended up getting $7 and change back.

I did the tombstone pizza deal, bought three and got a $1 cat back. Found another one on the ground by my car when leaving. YAY!

My cashier was totally anti-coupon and grumpy this morning too. Bummer.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Just one quick transaction for me this morning at about $25. Pretty good for holiday baking basics! Quite happy with it, and elated at how happy both employees and customers seemed today despite being a bit busy:) I've never had such a smile-filled SNS Thursday. (I guess a couple of cute kids doesn't hurt anything!) Happy shopping everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ooo...Shannon I didn't see the peelies at my store on the Kellogs. Melissa, I think my kiddos "help" me with grumpy cashiers, too! It's a pain when I have to bring them if I'm not well-prepared...but I always get better service. Planning to make as many as three more trips later today. Hope the things I want are still there tonight. I stocked up on OM Bacon last night since I thought that would be the first to go. Eve

    ReplyDelete
  49. ...oh yeah, and there are two manu coupons in the in-store ad at Deirbergs. One is for free pasta (up to $1.50) WYB Ragu sauce (the large one, $2.98). The other is for $1/2 Nabisco crackers. I did the math on the Ragu sauce , and it's a better deal to get the bigger if you need pasta. Going to scour online for a few more coupons before my next runs today. EVE

  50. I used my Helluv-a-dip coupon and got a .75 and a .50 coupons back!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oh, I know what else I wanted to warn about, I had a cashier that wouldn't scan my 3rd chex coupon (bought six)! She said since they were free I couldn't use a coupon on them. I decided it wasn't worth the fight.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Anyone else having trouble finding the $1/2 Nabisco Cracker coupon?

    ReplyDelete
  53. The McCain potatoes are on sale for $2.33. This includes the McCain Purely Potatoes Frozen Potato Products. I bought some hash brown packages and used $1 coupons from the 10/30SS. If you bought them today as part of the $10 off $50, they would be $.87 with the coupon. There were not many left at the store I shopped. On the website there are two other varieties of these potatoes listed, but I only saw hash browns at the store. That is what I wanted for a hash brown casserole to go with the ham.

    ReplyDelete
  54. There are Kraft coupons for $1/1 oreos and $1/1 nabisco crackers, and $1/1 OM bacon and also deli meat on a special Kraft/Publix site. Google "kraft + publix coupons 2011" and you will find them! They say 'redeem at Publix' but are manu coupons...HTH!!! Eve

  55. Good Evening to All,

Ahhhhh finally getting a chance to take a break.

I am glad that things went well for those that reported in on their shopping trips.

Eve-Gotta tell ya that one of my favorite cashiers from the East Alton store transferred to the Edwardsville store a few months back. She is a very coupon friendly maybe in her 50s with long blondish hair that she mostly keeps up in a bun type style her name is Charlene. When I pop in there and get to see her she always asks when I am gonna come do my Thursday there. Hope you have or get to meet her. =)

A funny thing today was when I made my first round in I saw a cashier from the Alton store in the East Alton store. She laughed at me and I at her "Like what are you doing here" I made her chuckle when I said I like to spread my shopping love around.

I had a great day all the way around. Picked up a 10.94 lb Kretschmar ham averaged out to a whole $.18 =) Stocked up on 20 bags of Kraft shredded cheeses and put 10 more lbs of OM bacon in the freezer and no shelf clearin' cuz the order I planned/placed Monday was waiting in the back of the store for me which made is easy for me and them. =)

    Thanks a Million Shop n Save =)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Janet...sounds like a great day for you! Not sure if I've met Charlene yet...but I love the Edws store! I did my biggest day yets since starting couponing last spring: 4 trips stocking up on Christmas dinner and food forour family who's visiting for two weeks. I didnt have any cats to roll and needed to get more than a few non-coupin items...but I'm still proud I spent $82 oop. For about $200 or more (considering sales) for next week! Eve

    ReplyDelete
  57. Hi All - Overall it sounds like everyone had a great day shopping with only a few minor hitches.

I made three trips and spent $66 for $233 worth of groceries. I was pleased with my shopping because not only was I able to shop for items for Christmas dinner, but stocked up on a few items.

I even bought a package of Oreo, so I can make those Oreo Cupcakes. I hid the Oreos, or otherwise my teenage son would eat the whole package before I had time to bake.

  58. There was no Kahiki General Tso's at my store, Kingshiway cor Chippewa. Don't like the other flavors so didn't get any. I was so disappointed. :(

  59. @coupon.girl

Hi coupon.girl - I aso only buy General Tso. I don't like the othter falvors either.

I know it's a little bit of a drive, but you should try shopping at the Mapelwood store. I was there between 6-7 last night and they still had everything on my list.
