If you're heading to CVS check out this possible freebie or even a money-maker. In some areas, shoppers are reporting finding $2 peelies on the shave gels.
Skintimate Shave Gel - $4.19 **
Get a $4 ECB
$0.55/1 Skintimate Shae Gel - 1/15/12 SS
= Better than FREE after coupon and ECB
Schick Hydro Shave Gel - $4.19 **
Get a $4 ECB
= $0.19 after ECB
** Unadvertised price - prices might vary between stores.

See the rest of this week's CVS Deals.
The Skintimates were labeled $3.59 and $3.39 at my CVS. They both rang up $3.59. I had the cashier check the tag which stated the one variety was $3.39. She price modified. I did not find the coupon in the Post that was delivered to my house or the three I purchased. However, there was one in the insert I received with the weekend Journal.
ReplyDeleteHi KC - That's an even better price than I had read about. Did you recpeit mention a limit?
DeleteGood Afternoon to All,
ReplyDeleteJeri-the Skintimates are ringing at $3.59 also here in IL and no mention of a limit as of yet on the receipts. HTH
The receipt states 1 more for the limit, but that just means 1 more will print again. It does not mean the maximum limit is only 1 more. In fact, I bought one first to "test" the deal, and the receipt said 1. Then I bought two and it produced a $8ECB. It still states limit needed 1. I have read elsewhere the limit is 100! Obviously that seems strange. I would guess CVS may "correct" that eventually. If anyone finds them, I would recommend buying one at a time to "test" if this is still working.
ReplyDeleteGood Evening to All,
ReplyDeleteKC-I think you are correct in stating the CVS will correct this-I am thinking that it will be corrected overnight with the system updates. =)
Hi All - I have a feeling it won't matter if CVS corrects the ECB deal. I doubt there is any left in the stores.
ReplyDeleteI went today & it didn't print at all. I pointed it out to the cashier & she fixed it. But it didn't show on my receipt at all. Who knows!!
ReplyDeleteCVS might have pulled the deal.
DeleteI haven't tried this deal since monday, so I can't comment as to whether it is still working or not... but it's hard to see in the picture shown above, but when you see it in person, it states limit of 100 right on the tag.
ReplyDeletethe 100 limit was a typo at corporate, of course.
ReplyDeleteBut, they will give a raincheck for up to 6. Works for me because then I can wait for a great coupon.

Hi AmryMomX2 - Thanks for the update. I'm glad they didn't pull the deal.
