Aldi Produce Picks + More: Week of 2/9/12
February 19 - 25, 2012
Aldi now has their local ads online. Produce Pick start on Sunday and Special Buys on Wednesday. If you're not in the St Louis area, check your local area's ad for prices and dates.

The store I shop had large head of Iceberg Lettuce for $0.89 today. Even though not in the ad as a Produce Pick, this is the best price on Iceberg I've seen for awhile.

The price of burger is outrageous lately. Aldi's burger prices are a lot better than what I've seen lately at the grocery store.
73% Lean - $2.19 lb.
80% Lean - $2.69 lb.
85% Lean - $3.19 lb.
90% Lean - $3.49 lb.
93% Lean - $3.59 lb.
If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been awhile:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons
If you buy something at Aldi you are not please with, they have a double guarantee. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will replace the product AND refund your money. More info HERE.

The aldi in ballwin also had a 10lb bag of russet potatoes for $2.69. And a special on red onion bags. I dont remember how much the onions were because I didnt need them. On a side note... my milk 2% rang up at $2.51 :)
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy - Thanks for the price on the russets. Red Onions are running $0.49 for a 2 lb. bag.
DeleteWish my 2% would have rung up for $2.51, but I can't complain $2.89. Last time I checked that was a much better price than the three grocery stores in town.
I got a pretty decent price on asparagus yesterday. I think it was a pound for around 1.50? And some great veggie deals this week... this is going to make sticking to a diet much easier this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly - I've not bought asparagus at Alid before. I'm really picky about asparagus and like the really thin spears. Was yours good from Aldi.
DeleteS. Grand had all the same prices as yours, including the iceberg lettuce!
