Made 2 trips to Target yesterday for the yogurt. First time I took the Target coups but not the MQs. 2nd time I took the Target coups and 2 MQs, tried to buy 4 packs and wondered why they werent ringing up for free. After I returned them and was back in the car I realized I need to have handed over 4 MQs which I did have with me. After decades of couponing I still screw up way too much :( But I did get a great deal on ladies winter stretch gloves, clearanced price .60 for a 2 pair set.
ReplyDeleteHi CJ - I've been know to do just what you did too. My husband called them brain warps.
DeleteJeri - I just shouldnt shop on my work days. Work uses up all my brain cells and I have none left for couponing :(
DeleteNo work today so I tried Target again and did it right this time, got 2 free packs of Activia. Also got 2 Welchs Natural Concord Grape Spread for just .14 each using 2 $1 Target website coupons and 2 .55 Welchs coupons from the 2/12 RP, and 2 more pairs of ladies stretch gloves for .30 each.
DeleteHas anyone been able to find the Iams pet food, and if so, at which store?
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Target, this controversial New York Times magazine article solves the mystery of how they determine who to send those sought-after coupon mailers to:
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/19/magazine/shopping-habits.html
I'm now resigned to the fact that I'll probably never receive any, given how little I spend out of pocket there!
Hi Hops - Very interesting article. Thanks for including the link.
DeleteI think CVS has me pegged as not spending any money, so I'll never again get one of those $/$$ coupons again.
Just think what the grocery stores here in town could do with loyalty cards.
Hops - The Kirkwood Target had a few bags each of the dog and cat Iams over a week ago. I dont know if they've restocked since.
DeleteCJ - Thank you! I'll try my luck there if the Fenton location is still out of stock this week.
DeleteThe Kirkwood Target is completely out of both the cat and dog Iams as of tonight.
DeleteYesterday morning there were four or five bags of Iams puppy food in stock at the Fenton Target, so I was finally able to get one to donate to a shelter. (They were sold out later that evening.) Mac and cheese was also finally in stock there, but the Up & Up paper towels are still AWOL several weeks after the $1 coupon appeared fleetingly on Target's website. They were cleared out of Up & Up ibuprofen (free after using the $1 Target printable) as well.
DeleteIf you have the $1 Target coupon for Method cleaning products and the $1 Method dish soap MQ that appeared in a January (?) insert, you can score $0.49 dish soap this week.
The Kirkwood Target is also out of the Up & Up ibuprofen and doesnt even have a space for the single roll U&U paper towels.
DeleteHi Jeri, Is this a good price for toilet paper( charmin)?
ReplyDeleteYes, this is as good of price for Charmin as you will find. My buy price for toliet paper is $0.20 or less per single roll equivalent. I would prefer to buy Charmin at that price, but can't always find it for $0.20 sinle roll or less.
DeleteIsn't the Activia coupon listed expired on 2/11? There is another one in SS 2/12.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda- Thanks for catching my opps!
DeleteI have a question about the digital prints. How are you getting them for $.10 each? I tried to order online and they are $.19 each. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Joleen - The digital prints for $0.10 each are for orders placed at the stores - not online.
DeleteOh, OK. I'll do that then. Thanks again!
