Someone please educate me. I'm looking at transaction 1.
ReplyDelete$3 toothpaste - $0.75 coupon - $2 Nivea RR = $0.25. Since this isn't less than $0.00 why does it need a filler item?
Hi Sara - You cannot use more manufacturer coupons than items purchased. Walgreens considers a Register Reward a manufacturer coupon.
DeleteIn transaction #1, if you didn't buy a filler you would be purchasing (1) item and using (2) manufacturers coupons and the register would accept both.
A Register Reward is a coupon and you have to the same amount of coupons to items. So in order to use the RR, one must have 3 items because in this transaction you have 3 coupons. Hope this helps.
