  1. Thank you so much! I didn't make it last week. Although it doesn't look like the deals are as great, I really appreciate the hard work you have done to get this out so early!

    1. Hi Tonya - You're welcome. We had a quite afternoon around here yesterday. I could have helped my husband scape paint on the garage or do the SNS match-up. Scraping paint is not something I like to do.

No, this is not nearly as good of week at SNS as last. Probably best to think about the types of things you buy that don't go on sale.

  2. Woohoo! Thanks Jeri! Not many good sale items, but I'll still take the 20% off.

If anyone is heading out to SNS, can you check the price for Special K Cracker Chip and Granola Bars? TIA!

    1. I've got a price list started. I'll add you items to it. I hope to get to SNS tomorrow, but it might be Wed.

  3. Thanks Jeri! I know this is so much work to get all together.Still a good deal to get any extra off on your groceries these days.

  4. Last week the Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats at my store had peelie coupons for $3 off milk wyb 3 Kellogg's cereals on the cinnamon roll variety, which I had $.70 coupons for. I bought one of them and then two Rice Krispies which had a peelie coupon for free M&Ms and used a $1 off 2 coupon. Made the Thursday price $4.04 for three boxes of cereal, a bag of M&Ms, and a gallon of milk. Not sure if the prices are the same this week, but if they are it's a good deal!Hope that makes sense!

  5. Does anyone know off the top of their head whether Shop 'n Save carries six-packs of Entenmann's Mini Cakes? Thanks in advance!

    2. Hi Hops - I couldn't find Entenmann's Mini Cakes at the store I priced checked. They did have Mini Bites and they were $3.98

    3. Hi Jeri - Thanks for looking! I couldn't find them at Dierbergs, either. Hopefully they'll turn up somewhere before the coupon I won expires.

  6. When SNS has a 10/$10 sale, do you have to buy 10 of the item to get the $1 price?

    Thank you!

    1. Anon, 10/$10 is a $1 price on each item no matter how many you buy. You do NOT have to buy 10 to get the $1 price. :)

  8. Yep...not great sales but 20% off is too much to pass up on some high-priced items. I also have the $3 off milk peelies, free M&Ms, free Kellogg's Fiber cereal wyb fiber bars to play with. I am really hoping for a con Agra deal soon so I can get my summer supply of hotdogs! Eve

  9. Happy Anniversary! It was this time last year that I showed up with about 40 free bottles of Fuze. This was the week that my hubby decided to be a huge couponing fan!

Ironically, he shares tips more often than I do now ;-)

  10. Has anyone tried the Fuse deal. My Shop N Save said it was a misprint. They are on sale for $1.00 but they aren't doing the buy 10 get 10 free.

    1. Thanks for the heads up on the Fuze deal.

The amount of misprints in SNS's ad lately is unacceptable. I can't believe they can continue week after week to do such a poor job with their ad.

  11. Anon, the ad says there are in-store coupons(?) I will be able to stop by a few stores tomorrow to see if I can find them. *fingers crossed*

  12. The coupons are coming NEXT week for the Fuze drinks. I am disappointed in Shop N Saves ad lately, do to the misprints. There has been several since December. I think they should go ahead and honor them, as long as they are in reason.

    1. No only are the misprints in the ads unacceptable. The employees at the store seem to care less (at least at the store I shop).

This is the second week in a row, that they put up the disclaimer signs after I asked if I asked if the ad was inccorect.

  13. Suprise Suprise ANOTHER error in a shopnsave ad this week. I think they should be held accountable and forced to honor their deals after so many in a year. maybe the BBB needs to look into this practice of "making mistakes".

    1. They were also rude to me today and didn't honor some of my coupons. I didn't argue with them, I will just shop elsewhere. It just bums me out when they are hard on couponers for no other reason than they just act like we are taking advantage or something. We all know how much time it takes to get organized and stay organized.

      Delete
    2. Which coupons wouldn't they honor?

When a cashier won't take some of my coupons, I ask them to call Customer Service over. Cashiers don't get much training on coupon and many don't understand how it works.

When I get a rude cashier, I stop at the Customer Service desk and ask to speak with a manager. If I was a manager I would want to know if customers weren't being treated like they should be.

Since couponing I've really changed my thought process when it comes to shopping. I expect store employees to be polite and follow policy. And when they are not, I purse the issue.

  14. Family-size bags of Tostitos tortilla chips are on sale for $2.98 at Shop 'n Save this week, which pairs well with a Bud Light mail-in rebate that's floating around (I saw them at a chip display at the Fenton Dierbergs) for $4 back on the purchase of any combination of two Tostitos tortilla chips (9 oz. or larger) and/or Tostitos dips.

    1. Thanks Hops! I don't think I've seen that rebate. I'll keep my eyes open for that one.
