    Had an awful time at Wags this morning. There was a sign up at the Colgate saying the deal was only good on the 5.8oz, not the 4oz. So I get the 5.8oz and of course it doesnt ring up at the sale price. The cashier makes me show her where the sign was, we go back to the counter to look at the ad and then she makes me go back and get the smaller size (no other employees in the store to help). Then she cant figure out how to ring up my B1G1 mac & cheese coupon, she adds $1.60 then takes it off and then only takes off $1.50 for the coupon. Then she hands my Reach floss coupon back to me because "it says no item found". She finally manually enters that and I held my breath hoping all my RRs would come out. In the end everything was free but geesh, does it always have to be so difficult??

    Just went to Wags and they wouldn't take my coupons that expire on 6/17 because the register said they were expired. I thought I would still be able to use them, I guess not. Might have to try one of the other 24hour places and see if they take it. Anyone else have any problems?

    I've never had a problem using coupons on the day they expire. All coupons should being good through midnight or the close of business of the date on the coupon. You may want to speak to the store manager or Walgreens corporate, maybe the register just needs to be reprogrammed.

    At Walmart today I tried to use a $1 White Cloud coupon with 8/19/12 expiration that I just got in All You magazine yesterday and the register said it was expired. The cashier agreed that it should have been able to be used through 8/19/12 but she couldnt take it because the register refused it. Seems these days the registers have final word instead of the employees being allowed to use common sense.

    Hi All - I'm thinking some coupons might have a coding problem with the dates after hearing about these experiences. I would think they could be over ridden by an employee or manager.

    Maybe, an email to the companies about the problem would be in order.

    Could you explain the Scotch-Brite deal to me? I'm not seeing how it comes out to be $1.77 each.

      The sale is B1G1. Buy two packs at $4.29 and use (1) .75/2 coupon. That gets the $1.77 each end price.
