Here's a couple other ideas for the $1/$3 Everyday Essentials coupon: E.E. sliced cheese and E.E. almond milk half gallons are both priced around $2.78 at SNS. Great coupon, I'll look around to see what else makes a good deal.

DeleteReally bummed with SNS lately. No $10 Thursday this month, we use to have one close to Thanksgiving. Schnucks, however, has really stepped up to the plate. Even the gift card deal is better at Schnucks. Looks like I am going to shop at Schnucks more often....
ReplyDeleteI called Shop N Save corporate the other day to question why they didn't do the $10 Thurs. Her response was that they had too many people complaining that they weren't able to meet the $50.00 to save $10.00. My reply was that it sounded really odd. How could you shop for a Thanksgiving Day dinner and not spend $50.00. They better step it up quick because I am really getting disappointed.

ReplyDeleteHi All - I'm disappointed, but not surprised that SNS has fewer and fewer $10/$50 Thursdays. I remember when the did them every week.
ReplyDeleteSuperValu (their parent company) is in really bad financial shape. Lost $111 million on net sales last quarter - up from a $60 million loss the previous quarter. They really are a sinking ship.
I hope all the employees can survive the changes that have to be coming.
Is anyone else hearing rumors that Schnucks is interested in buying Shop 'n Save? I've heard this now from several Schnucks employees. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of that.
