  1. Can ECBs be used to purchase the iTunes or Visa gift cards?

    1. Hi Mccoyca - No, gift cards and pre paid cards are one of the few restricted items along with prescription, alcohol, lottery tickets, money orders, postage stamps, and tobacco.

  2. If you got the CVS CRT coupon for $5 ECB wyb $25 iTunes card, it actually deducts $5 at checkout vs printing a $5 ECB.

    1. Hi Carrie - So, there is a coupon for iTunes wyb $25 and $10 ECB wyb $100?

    2. Last week, the CVS coupon machine printed out a $5 ECB wyb a $25 iTunes card coupon for me. If you were lucky enough it get it, it actually deducted $5 at checkout vs getting a $5 ECB. Combine this coupon with this week's $10 ECB wyb $50 iTunes card, it's quite a deal. I'm not aware of a $10 ECB wyb $100 coupon though.

  3. This morning I purchased 2 Right Guard 5 deodorants since I had a $3/2 IP. I actually received a $2 ECB (I only expected $1 ECB) and when I looked at my receipt, it appears to have a limit of 4. Not sure if that was a programming mistake in the computers or an advertising mistake.

    1. I purchased 4 of the Right Guard products and received a $4 ECB. However, on my receipt, it does not say limit reached. So I believe the limit is higher than 4.

on the CVS page you have posted Kleenex on sale and a coupon:*NEW* $1/4 Kleenex Facial Tissue - 12/2/12 SS. My Post Dispatch coupon is .50 off 3. Why is there a difference?

    1. Hi Peggy! I have no idea. It could be a MIT graduate sitting behind a computer analyzing all kinds of data, or it could be the manufacturer pick a number out of the air and release X number of coupons at each value.

I'm sure a manufacturer would say it's closer to my first scenario than the second one.

  5. Soooo not happy with CVS right now! Tried to buy (2) 8 pk Sparkle paper towels. I gave the cashier my (2) $1/1 printables. She told me that the register said they were "in valid" and she was to give them back to me. I asked to speak with a manager because all of my other printables were scanning fine. She said she was the manager and she wasn't taking the coupon. I just ran out of paper towels yesterday and was looking forward to this deal! Grrrrrr! Sorry about the negative post but I had to vent to someone who would understand. ;)

    1. I used the same $1 Sparkle coupon yesterday but I only had one of them. It came up invalid and the manager let the cashier put it through. I only had one though.

    2. Hi Joleen - I understand your frustration. This sounds like a problem on Sparkles end with that coupon. I think I would email Sparkle complain. They shouldn't have a coupon on their website if the coding isn't working at the stores.

  6. It was at the CVS in Tinley Park on 167th and Harlem. When I got home I emailed both Sparkle and CVS. Sparkle said that retailers set their own policies so I should try another retailer. CVS said that they were sorry and that they would forward my issue onto the regional and district manager. Whatever that's worth.

    1. Thanks for the update. That sounds like a cop out from Sparkle if the coding is incorrect.
