I'm new to this site, but I can already tell that I appreciate how impressively detailed it is. Though, I'm having a hard time deciphering some of the posts to learn how to get the biggest savings for myself. I do a lot of cooking so fresh meat and produce are what I'm most interested in. It doesn't seem like there is ever that much in savings on those items. Also, can someone please explain how these match-ups work? What does RP mean? And what do the dates mean?

RP means Red Plum
SS means Smart Source
P&G means Proctor and Gamble
The dates are the date of the newspaper in which that insert was included.
Those of us who coupon a lot save inserts by dates. (Sometimes buying extra papers when there are good inserts.) Over time one develops a system that works for him/her.

Hi - Yes, there are more coupons for processed food, but there are also coupons for rice, pasta, flour, sugar....
DeleteIf you are in Missouri, keep your eyes open for Beer Rebates. Many times they are for items like meat and produce, and in Missori, no beer purchase is required.
