I usually make several trips a week to Wags but decided to get everything at once this week to get the 1000 points. Bought $27 worth, used 11 RRs and a Colgate coupon and my OOP was $1.45 :) I'm still not even up to 10,000 points yet. The new points system has been slow going for me.

DeleteNot with as slow as I'm accumulating points! I'd like to get to 18,000 before I use them so I at least make $2 profit (18,000 points gets you $20).

I bought some stuff from a some weeks ago, and I accumulated 18,000 points which I don't know why. :)) Used 5,000 of it already a couple of weeks ago. Did not know that I could have gotten $20 worth of items for 18,000 points. Is this an ongoing thing with the points system or is it just a weekly or a monthly "special"? TIA.

DeleteQuick question - Yesterday Hubby got a "store coupon" (elsewhere on the slip it's called a "STOCK-UP coupon")It says "Balance Rewards members Save $5 on your next shopping purchase of $20" It was only good for yesterday and today so I want to use it this a.m. I've not been to WAGS since they started this goofy balance rewards system. Question: Is this coupon one that would exclude earning Balance Rewards Points?? TIA! Debra

DeleteIf the coupon came out of the Catalina machine, then I don't think it would affect earning Points. From what I've heard, the only thing that affects points is a deal that says spend x number of dollars to get x points, they money you need to spend has to be after Walgreens store coupons.
Hopefully someone that's been shopping at Wags more than me will know for sure.
