Buying 1 Starbucks Refresher generates a coupon for $1 off 2 Refreshers, great way to get another 2 for free after coupon and RR on another trip.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jennifer!
DeleteJust found $6.50 in RRs that expired yesterday. Has anyone had good luck getting cashiers to accept them if expired for just one day? I had an emergency this weekend and Wags was the last thing on my mind. I guess I should use them right away so I lose out.
ReplyDeleteI meant "so I dont lose out". Geesh, I proofread and still dont get it right :(
DeleteI would ask a manager. My experience is he/she won't accept it, but you could try. CVS always accepts expired ECB from me. Just another reason CVS is much easier!
DeleteSeconded, never had any luck at Walgreens, always have luck at CVS, supposedly the district manager (or someone) approved the stores to accept the expired ECBs. I try to use all my RR at Walgreens weekly, keeps my spending down and keeps me from losing $$--been there done that!
DeleteCJ - If you ask the manager about your expired RR let us know what happened. I too now shop like Jennifer and use my RR the same week. I've thrown out expired RR before - it's a terrible feeling.
DeleteJeri - The manager at the Rock Hill store gave me permission to use them. I didnt even mention it to the cashier and they scanned fine and the cashier never even looked at the date. So I was pleased I got to use them. Got 2 Simply Lemonade, 2 Life, M&Ms, Gum toothbrushes, 2 paper towels and a Starbucks all for change after all of my RRs. I'll be sure to use up my Gum and Starbucks RRs this week so I dont have to worry about them expiring again.
DeleteYea! Thanks for the update.
