My "best buys" are items $1 or less, meat for $2 or less a pound and a few other items that are at rock bottom prices. When I keep my shopping list to these items, I can bring home a ton of groceries for very little money.

FYI, Walmart has the Hefty One Zip storaage bags for $1. I bought 17 ct. gallon size and 22 ct. quart size there today--FREE after $1/1 coupons! This was at the St. Charles Walmart, but I saw this posted on another blog so would assume it's the price at most Walmarts.
ReplyDeleteKelly,
ReplyDeleteThanks for passing on the information. I'm not a Walmart shopper because they don't have a location that is convenient for me. I have visited the Super Walmart in South County a couple of time, but I found their prices to be much higher than what I read on other blogs or forum. Is this what you find also.
Again Thanks
The Walmart closest to me is not a Super Walmart. Too close to Schnucks and Dierbergs, I guess. It has started to add more food, but no fresh meat or produce. I only go there about once a month, I hate the parking over there plus it is always too crowded for my tastes. However, they are cheaper on some things I use regularly, like dogfood and some personal care stuff.
