More Schnucks Deals

This is turning out to be a crazy good week for shopping at Schnucks. Besides the weekly deals and the FREE Cream of Wheat, several readers have found even more Catalina deals.

  • The Souper Cereal Plan Catalina deal - buy 6 get a $3 Catalina - lists Progresso High Fiber, Light or Light Reduced Sodium Soups @ $1.34 as participating products, but the Progresso Classic Vegetable soups are also triggering the Catalina. (Thanks, Audrey!)

    Buy (6) Progresso Vegetable Classic soup @$1 = $6.00
use (2) $1.10 any 3 coupons from HERE or HERE -$2.20
    = $3.80 out of pocket
receive Catalina coupon to use on you next shopping trip -$3
Net Cost: $0.80 for 6 cans of soup or .13 each!

  • Nature Valley Granola Bars are triggering two Catalina coupons. They are also included in the Souper Cereal Catalina Deal - buy 6 get a $3 Catalina, and they are happening to trigger a $3.50 Catalina coupon as well. (Thanks, Val!)

    Buy (6) Nature Valley Granola Bars @ $2.50 = $15.00
use (6) .40 coupons from HERE and HERE (coupons double) -$4.80
    = $10.20 out of pocket
receive Catalina coupon to use on your next shopping trip - $3.50
and receive the second Catalina coupon for your next shopping trip - $3.00
Net cost: $3.70 for 6 boxes of granola bars or .62 each!
You will need access to two computers to print six coupons.

  • And finally, a Ragu Catalina deal. Purchase (3) jars of Ragu and get $2 coupon to use on you next shopping trip. (This one I found)

    purchase (3) Ragu @$1.67 = $5.01
    use $1.25 off 3 coupon from 11/15/09 RP - 1.25 (Hurry! expires 1/10/10)
    = $3.76 out of pocket
    receive Catalina coupon -$2
Net cost: $1.76 for 3 jars of Ragu or .59 each!

Note: Progresso and Nature Valley Granola Bars are both General Mills products. Who knows how many Catalina coupons will print if you purchase both products in one transaction? If you are interested in both deals, I would split them up into separate transactions.

  3. Schnucks has kicked up the prices of Durkee Chili and Taco Seasoning Mix up to @$.65 Might have to dump all the French's Mustard I got in storage. I opened a squeeze bottle and what came out was just nasty.

I found the best buy on Ragu was when SnS does the B$40 in Unilever products and receive $15 in cats. Often those promos are done when also a $10 off $50 Thursday is offered. Yes, I'm well stocked on jars of Ragu, Knorrs packages and Q-tips.

  7. No cream of wheat coupons in Jefferson City, too bad my family loves Cream of Wheat dinner nights especially when it is this cold. But I did find a great rebate on the end of a liquor isle. It is an orange "Shock Top Citrus Vinaigrette" recipe on front but when you open there is a $6 rebate for purchasing oranges, fresh fruit and produce over $10, no alcohol purchase required. First time I found a rebate like this here, so hope you find them over there.

  8. Hi Jefferson City - Hopefully, they just haven't put up the display yet and you will still find the Cream of Wheat deal.

Thanks for the passing on your rebate find; they are so much easier to find if you know what to look for.

Beer & alcohol rebates where no beer or alcohol purchase is required are like finding money just laying on the shelf. They are exciting to find.

  9. There is a Kraft catalina deal, not sure how to get specifics. This is what I was told, you can purchase 4 Kraft cheese/dairy products (shredded, velveeta, parm.) get $5. I didn't know until after my purchase, I bought 5 Kraft dairy cheese items but I think you only need purchase 4. This is valid until the 14th I was told.

  10. Thanks for the info. It is very hard to track down the specifics of an unadvertised Catalina deal. Word of mouth is about as good as it gets.

I would be leary of buying (4) itmes to get the Catalina. The Kraft deal is running at quite a few grocery stores across the nation and they all mention purchase (5) I'm just a bit leary you were told the correct info.
