Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's a good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my $1 investment.

DEAL$, Dollar Tree and Sam's Club sell the Sunday Post-Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. And they usually still have Sunday papers left on Monday. Find the Deal$ , Dollar Tree or Sam's Club closest to you.

  1. After I did some banking, I stopped at Deal$ for a Sunday paper. The cashier mentioned someone was in earlier, purchased three papers and checked each for the coupons, like I did. I replied those coupons paid for the paper.

Now Deal$ is running a good deal on Tyson Spiral Ham @$5 with an additional $10 purchase(s). Weight will be between 7-10 lb.; but if like the turkey, won't be tagged. Since no raincheck, buy ASAP.

  2. I usually buy my papers from Dollar Tree but lately the Saturday early edition at Dollar Tree has only had 1 or the other of the coupon inserts so make sure you check for all the inserts before purchasing. I haven't been on Sundays to know if they have the actual Sunday paper with all coupons.

  3. I always check my papers too. I buy 12 at a time. It takes awhile to do it, but it is well worth it. I purchase my papers at the Dollar Tree or Sams. Both normally have all the inserts.

Sams papers are 1 cent cheaper that the dollar stores. When you buy 12 papers a week, every penny counts, right??

  4. I went back Sunday morning for the ham. Best guess it weighed between 7 and 8 pounds. I purchased 10 papers and found alot more ads, including the Kmart one. I've already reheated the ham, which removed about 2-3 cups of liquid. The meat tasted alright with hardly any fat until the stub.
