Edit: Kmart rescinded this coupon on Friday 2/19/10. I spoke with Customer Service at a local Kmart and she told me the stores received an email this morning telling them not to accept the coupon; it was meant for Chicagoland stores only.
Print your $10 off your next $20 purchase at Kmart coupon valid through 5/22/10!
$10 off regular, sale or clearance priced merchandise purchase in-store of $20 or more (before taxes and after other discounts have been applied) in a single transaction.
This coupon is a pdf which means unlimited prints. But, hurry and print yours now! This coupon might not be available online long.
It doesn't look to me like you will be able to use this coupon with Kmart's Double Coupon Event, but it is sure worth printing and taking it with you to see what "after other discounts have been applied" really means.
Thanks, Melissa!

Why don't you think we can use this during double coupons?
ReplyDeleteThe assumptions by the web old timers is that Kmart will quit honoring this coupon in a short time. IMHO, it's too good to be true, given past coupons are like $5 off $50 or $10 off $100.
ReplyDeleteHi T - I'm not sure, but the line "after other discounts have been applied" makes me think they might not allow it to be used with double coupons. I'll take the coupon with me and see, but I didn't want people to plan on it if they wouldn't.
ReplyDeleteHi kas - You are probably correct. I remember Sears not honoring a coupon last summer after a day or so. I'm not a Kmart shopper, so if you hear they have quit honoring it will you let me know. Thanks.
Stocked up on the Angel Soft bathroom paper. Purchased five packs of 12 double rolls for $21.21 after coupons and with tax. Plus received a $10 Kmart cat that is good through 4/1/10.
ReplyDelete11.21 / 60 = $.18 or $.19 per double roll.
So, Kas, does that mean it took off $10 off your Angel Soft for this transaction AND printed a $10 cat? Or, does this $10 off $20 coupon ONLY print a catalina but not take the total off the current transaction?
ReplyDeleteI rarely go to Kmart, but I couldn't bear not testing out this deal for some cheap diapers. I bought 2 packs of diapers and a splurge Easter candy. Total: $23. I then handed the $10 coupon first and then 2 $3 Huggies coupons. Total after: $6!!! It seems this coupon is programmed similar to a Register Reward, so maybe having a filler item without a corresponding coupon did the trick.
ReplyDeleteMelissa, subtotal was $32.45. I gave over the $10 off $20 coupon and than the 5 $.50 MQ. Tax was $1.26, I paid $21.21 and received a printed $10 cat that will expire in two weeks.
ReplyDeleteHope the info helps. If anyone going down to the South County store, there is a few racks of clearance items near the registers and near pantry.
Where is the coupon?
ReplyDeletekas...is the angel soft triggering the catalina?
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy - Click on the blue link in the first line of the post and it should open up.
ReplyDeleteHi Liz - Check out Coupons Deals and More. She lists Kmart Monthy Catalina deal including Angel Soft

I read on another blog that Kmart corporate has told Kansas City area stores to stop accepting the coupon. I wont be able to try it til Monday so everyone keep posting the status for St Louis stores.
ReplyDeleteHi CJ - I just got back from Kmart. Customer Service told me they received an email this moring that Kmart had rescinded the coupon; it was meant for Chicagoland stores only.
ReplyDeleteKas has been couponing long enough that he knew to run to Kmart because this coupon would not be accepted long.
Jeri - I knew I should have gone to Kmart yesterday. The early bird gets the worm!
ReplyDeleteWow, Kmart/Sears strikes again! And this (in addition to their inflated prices!) is why I don't normally shop there. I tried again this morning too after last night's success and it was so aggravating. Sorry if I sent anyone on a wild goose chase!
ReplyDeleteGuess I shouldn't have gave my telephone number for that reward program. Hate to have The Big K go Staples on me.
ReplyDeleteNo need to appololgize Melissa.
ReplyDeleteSo disappointing! I should have listened to the "old timers" and ran to K-mart when I had the chance!
