Coupon Shopping

When at the grocery store, always be on the look out for coupon brochures, tearpads and blinkies. Some of the best coupons are found right at the store.

But, please, be respectful of other couponers. When you find coupons take a couple and leave the rest for the other shoppers. If you back in the store and they still have the coupons, take a couple more.

I found some great coupons yesterday. Be on the look out for these.

- $3 off Beef, Pork or Chicken when you buy any Kingsford or Kingsford Match Light Charcoal
- FREE KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce when you buy any Kingsford or Kingsford Match Light Charcoal
- FREE Kingsford Charcoal Lighter Fluid when you buy any Kingsford or Kignsford Match Light Charcoal

.35 off any Weber Seasoning, Grinder or Marinade
.50 off Weber Grill Spray

These Weber coupons have some great possibilities. Schnucks often puts Weber Marinades on sale for $0.50 and Grinders for $1. The $0.35 coupon doubled makes them either FREE of cheap. Buy two Weber products for free or almost free and get $1 off your meat.

Submit either the Bud Light Rebate or Bud Select rebate and you're eating for almost FREE.

  1. We have been using the Weber marinades on the chicken we got a Dierbergs... LOVE them, had the wine and herb the other night and black peppercorn last night. They taste great, and the best part is even if you only have them in the marinade for 20 mins or so before grilling you still get great flavor.

  2. I am really hoping Weber goes on sale again. I was lucky enough to find a ton of blinkie q's that someone had pulled out of the machine and threw on the floor at a grocery store out of state for 50c each!! And I didn't feel bad for taking them since they were wadded up on the floor and knew someone would just throw them away! I used all my other weber q's from the inserts. AND I have the $1 off meat WYB weber. Please please please put weber on sale again :D

  3. I usually run through the store so fast I dont look for coupons. I need to slow down and look more. I finally got a "real" bag for my coupons and I love it! Only $1 at Dollar Tree. I'm so proud I had to take a photo of it and tell all of you!

  4. Thanks for the gentle reminder on "coupon ettiquette". As you've said so kindly, everyone's needs are different, but there has to be some sense of fair play. My spirit was crushed the day I drove to several Schnucks to get the elusive Nutella coupons. I spied one on a display, as I walked toward it a woman took the entire pad off the display. Trish

  5. Hi JenZin - I picked up quite a few last year for free. We used them a lot, but still have some leftover. If you like them, this is the only time of year you'll get them for a great price. Stock up!

Hi Couponmama - If it is anything like last year they will be on sale about every other week.

Hi CJ - Love the new bag! Look for the shipper displays (free standing cardboard displays). You can keep an eye out for them and not have slow down too much.

  6. Hi Trish - Oh my! I hope you read the woman that took an entire tearpad the riot act, or at least asked her to share. I don't judge someones needs, but an entire pad?

For these reasons, I'm against ever buying coupons found at a store on ebay. I have to believe that someone who takes all the coupons, is trying to make money on something that is free. If they have no market, they wouldn't take them all.

  7. CJ, I couldn't help but LOL when you described your previous coupon "bag". I use the return letter envelopes we got from junk mail. I use a bigger thick one with smaller envelopes inside to organize the coupons. Each one has a label. When they start to rip apart, I just replace them. I guess am too frugal. :) Hubby always tells me to buy a coupon bag. Told him I want to get it for free. hehehe :)

  8. I just got a new coupon binder! My MIL made it for me (so I did get it free....) She is selling them for $25. Unfortunately the 3" binders are like $8 each....
Check it out here - http://urbansaving.blogspot.com/2010/06/my-new-coupon-binder.html
    Maybe I could talk her into a Give-A-Way ; )

  9. Hi Andrea - Love the binder. Is there some way to contact your MIL if someone wants to buy one? Tell her I would be more than happy to host a giveaway if she would be interested.
