More Target Deals

I shopped at the Target in Brentwood yesterday. It seems so strange to see fresh fruit, veggies and meat at Target, but then again, I remember Target long before they had any food items.

Is the Brentwood Target the only Target in the St Louis area with a grocery department that includes the fresh produce and meat?

  2. Hi Andrea - Thanks, Did they just change that coupon this morning, or did I not read carefully enough?

  4. Did you actually find the PF deli flats at the Brentwood Target? I was there last week and couldn't find them on the shelf or a place for them. Do you remember what they were by? Thanks!

  5. Hi JB - I didn't see the Deli Flats at Brentwood. A reader had sent me info on that deal. Sorry if I got your hopes up.

  6. I'm pretty sure the Hampton Target has fresh food but I could be mixing it up with the Brentwood one. (I shop at both depending on where else I'm going.)

  7. Some employees at the Hampton store said that they would be expanding the Hampton store to include groceries like the Brentwood store, they said they are going to start working on it in Dec/Jan.

  8. At my Target they had the PF deli flats, but they have been out of stock since the sale has been running. They were in the bread section on the top shelf.

  9. JB, I couldn't find the deli flats or a shelf tag for them at the Brentwood store either. Has anyone seen them at another Target in STL?

  10. There was a rumor a few years back that the Florissant store would be turned into a Super Target. However, I suspect some in the area go to a different Target, especially if they shop at night. The orginal North County Target at Old Hall Ferry and Dunn got a River Road type rep.

I learned last night from my sister that a Super Walmart is being built near the nasty Walmart on West Florissant. She works at a grocery chain that picked up some of the problem customers when a North County store was closed. My understanding on the proposed Rock Road Super Walmart is there a money issue. It will depend on which city fools, St. Ann or Bridgeton, offer more TIF.

  11. Hi everyone, Sorry if I posted about the Deli Flats and they are nowhere to be found.

Hi Kas - I heard the big problem in North County about Walmart wanting to relocate was the town the old Walmart was in didn't want to lose the sales tax revenue.

  12. Jeri, the current Walmart, which is east of NW Plaza, is 90% in St. Ann with the other part in Bridgeton. Unlike The Mills in Hazelwood, past owner(s) of NW Plaza wouldn't take parking lot security seriously. Customers don't want to hope that their vehicle is still in the same place before they went shopping.

The Feds hurt Bridgeton by running families out of Carolation for the runway and than allowing Lambert to become a second tier airport.

  13. Target in Shiloh IL had the Deli Flats today. There was only one left though. Also, I don't know if all Targets have been like this, but use your Michellena's coupons at Schnucks instead of Target. Shiloh only had Fetuccini with chicken and broccoli and Cheddar Cheese Wheels for options.
