No Hylands at the 2 Wags I went to this morning. I did get the Vicks Sinex, Emergen-C and Full Fit bar.
ReplyDeleteHi CJ - Did the stores even have a spot on the shelf for Hyland's?
ReplyDeleteI've seen it where some stores never have had the Free after RR items in when it's a new product to Walgreens. I hope this isn't the case with Hyland's.
Jeri - Yes there was a slot for it but only room for a few bottles. I've noticed a lot of bare space in the over the counter medications sections at Wags in the last 6 months, not sure why.
ReplyDeleteI scoped it out at one store last week and they had quite a few bottles (Big Bend & Clayton Road). I was able to find it at two out of three stores today. There was plenty of Emergen-C at all of the stores I went to, but I didn't get any at store number 3 because I didn't have the Hyland's to roll it with.
ReplyDeleteI almost wasn't allowed to use my Hyland's Q, but they did eventually let me use it. It wouldn't scan, but he entered the numbers manually and it went through. There was an employee leaving the store as I was checking out and she told my cashier that they don't take IPs and that he should call the manager. I asked her if that was a new policy (politely), and she wouldn't even look at me, just kept telling him he needed to call the manager. She eventually kind of half responded to me, but overall I felt she was a bit rude. I am still preferring CVS to Wags big time, but I can't pass up on the opportunity to stock up on Emergen-C for free with five kids and winter coming. We love that stuff! The exp date is Apr '12, so I am hoping to buy a lot (leaving plenty for other, though)!
Hi Staci - I found Hyland's yesterday also, but it didn't look like the store had much stock to begin with. But they did have tons of Emergen-C.
ReplyDeleteIf you feel like an employee was missinformed and rude to you, you should send Walgreens Corp. and email and share your expierence with them. Emails to Corp. get back to the store managers and they are evaluated on customer feedback.
The more customers share what is going on in the stores will surely will make shopping at Walgreens a better expience for all.
Senekot and Colace (stool softeners) are $12.99 at Walgreens. Use the $4 October booklet coupon and $10 rebate to get it for $1 profit. Here's the link to the rebate form http://www.getconstipationrelief.com/mi?affid=13933&FiliAff=13933&subid=CD10789
ReplyDeleteI got a raincheck last week for the Gain dish soap. Has anyone checked if Wags stores have them in stock this week already? Would want to use the coupons before they expire. TIA.
ReplyDeleteWalmart in my town has the dish soap for 99c so it would be free there as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anon. Walmart is just way too far for me. :(
ReplyDeleteHi Coupongirl - I bought my gain at Schnucks. $1.19 is the regular price. I was happy paying 20 cents.
ReplyDeleteThanks, CJ for the rebate info.
