CVS $5 Scenario - Week of 1/16/11

You can save ton of money at CVS rolling ECBs.  If you are following my CVS $5 Scenarios you have a $10 ECB to start this week's shopping. Hopefully, you have the hang of how rolling ECB's work.

I'm starting over this week for the new CVS shopper than has no ECB's to begin with.

Remember, if CVS is out of stock on an item, ask for a raincheck. You still get ECBs with a raincheck.

  1. Do you pay 4 separate transactions or pay at once at the register to get the ECBs?

  2. Good Morning All,

I am going to post this in several spots to spark interest.

I am posting some great coupons in the Coupon Trader area for a Giveaway. Go ck it out. =)

  3. Hi Anonymous - For this sceanio I'm doing (4) seperate transactions and using the ECB I receive to help pay for the next transaction.

Most of the CVS's I'e been to have no problem with customers doing back to back transactions. If your store is busy, I would suggest doing a couple of transactions in a row and then stepping aside to let the people in line behind you check out. This way no one gets upset.

  4. Are you hanging on to the the $10 from last week or just using it for something else?

  5. Hi Chef Penny - I hate to admit it, but I almost never follow my $5 scenario. I don't like to spend that much money at the drugstore :)

I write up the $5 sceanrio so a new drugstore shopper can get the hang of rolling RR or ECBs, or a first timer can jump in without spending too much.

I actually had $20 in ECBs so I spent them on Charmin.

  6. Jeri, that is great! I appreciate your scenario and will tell my advanced coupon class to follow it. I think I'll use mine on Charmin too! lol
