Rachelstl's Target Shopping Trip

Fantastic deal at Target this week with the $5 Giftcard when you buy ANY (7) frozen foods, and Coupon STL readers have been taking advantage of the offer. I commented if anyone wanted to send me pictures of their Target shopping I would post them.  Here is the first of hopefully many Target shopping trip pictures.

Rachelstl sent me these pictures of her Target shopping trip.

Here are a couple pics from my Target run today....4 stores & 4 transactions:

2-Finish 10 Ct.
1-Women's Jeans
2-Dentyne 3 pks
4-Dannon Danimals
2-Up Cotton Balls
2-Up Liners
2-Eggo Pancakes
2-New York Garlic Bread
1-Gortons Fish Sticks
2-TGIF appetizers (big boxes)
4-Market Pantry Frozen Corn
20-Smart Ones Desserts
1-Thomas Bagels (full price for my 15 year old)
3-TGIF appetizers (clearance)
8-Tony's Pizza
1-Ziploc (.66 cents on clearance)

$34.76 Out of pocket

Not too bad considering we will use it all & I am filling my deep freezer which will save us money : )

Great job, Rachelstl!  Thanks for sharing.

  1. Great job!! Thanks for sharing.

I made a trip Monday and yesterday my store was cleared out. I managed to get lots of veggies though. And LOTS of Finish on 2/21 last day of coupon.
    What is the Danimals deal?

  3. Hi guys I have been totally out of it due an emergency c section last week. Baby girl #4 was in a hurry. So I am foaming at the mouth to get to target. I was wondering since they are probably cleaned out. I know they will give you a rain check but will that also cover the gift cards if they are out of something?

  4. Andrea: The Danimals are on sale for $1.89 & there was a .50 off dannon products coupon...I consider this a good deal because my son drinks these daily sometimes multiple a day & since there are only 6 bottles it can get expensive!

I found other deals after I left so hopefully I can get the other things today since it's any 7 frozen items, but it's hard since all the Targets don't have a big freezer area.

  5. Lisa B - Congrats on baby girl #4! how exciting for your family! Those babies sure have a way of coming when they are ready. =)

    Way to go Rachelstl!

I am hoping to get to Target on Friday, but I wonder if they'll even have anything left. I was at least glad that I was able to give my sis a heads up on Monday. She went shopping and came out with three $5 GCs. She's not a couponer, but she is becoming most cost conscientious. =)

  6. Hi Lisa B - Congratulation on the new baby. I hope both of you are doing well.

I'm not sure on the raincheck/giftcard policy at Target. I did a little poking around on Totally Target and the coupon forums and couldn't find any info if they do or they don't. Maybe you could give your local Target a call and see if you could find out any info.

  9. My photo would be similar to Rachel's except with lots of frozen juice for my toddler. I went in and out of the store three times and stacked the GC deal thrice each time! What a fun lunch hour! We have been completely out of frozen veggies for a couple of weeks and my chest freezer was EMPTY. I might hit another store this evening. My husband will be having surgery so stocked up on WW meals to have on hand for that time.

  11. Congrats Lisa B on the new baby!!

I went again today, but no pic since I have to pick up the troop Girl Scout Cookies this evening & need to make room, but I walked out with 3 gift cards & paid $28.31 & saved $32.08. I know I could of saved so much more OOP, but I don't have the time to do multiple transactions today. Would love to see what everyone else is getting this week :)

  12. Has anyone tried the Tony's Pizzas? I hope the kids will eat them, but figured this cheap if not I'm sure I can pass them on to my brother since they would be free to him LOL

  14. Thank you everyone. Jeri I did find out the ad says while supplies last so no rainchecks.

ArmyMomx2 Baby Leanna is only 3 lbs 9 ozs so if anyone has any preemie cloth or regular diapers that is what we would be interested in for now. Thank you for asking.
