  1. Jeri.

We stopped by SNS last night and Kahiki is on sale this week. The small packages are 5 for 10 and the big ones like you buy are 2 for 10. I am definitely getting some this week. I may try the Pagoda too.

  2. Would love to see a scenario of yours; when we go on Thursday can we also uspe the $5.00 coupon from the entertainment book? Thanks for all your help...Tami

  3. If anyone goes to check prices could you please check Marzetti's salad dressing in the produce section & Murry's French Toast Sticks in the freezer section? TIA :)

  4. Good Morning to All,

Hi Rhonda, I pulled a couple of the Pagoda coupons and it stated these were formally "Asain Sensations". Have you tried the Asain Sensations before? Just wondering how they are. TIA

Hi Tami, Yes we can use the -$5/$50 from the Ent. Booklet on Thursday. HTH

Hi Rachel, If I stop by I will check but I think today is plan day again for me.

Hope Everyone has a great day.

  5. Hi All -

Rhonda - Thanks for the info on Kahiki. I'm out and have been craving some Chinesse.

Tami - I not only use the $5 off $50 coupon from the Entertainment book, but I save any coupons for a FREE item to use on a $10 off $50 Thursday.

Janet - Asian Senstaion was my frozen egg rolls of choice before I found Kahiki. They are a very close second now. My son loves egg rolls for an after school snack almost as much as crackers or chips.

  6. Hi All,

I wanted to let you guys know I posted a picture of the ConAgra Cat Deal from the last SNS ad over in the CouponSTL Trader Forum. I just thought it might help if you are going to work it into this weeks plans. But Please do remember to ck prices on the products as they might have changed =)

    ReplyDelete
  7. Are there any other catalinas going on? TIA

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hi Rachel,

I did post a current Cat list over in the CouponSTL Trader Forum and Jeri did repost the list and it might be in the main SNS Forum. HTH =)

  9. Last week I did 2 ConAgra deals in one transaction and it only printed 1 $10 CAT. The cashier told me that I should have separated my order. Am I missing something? I have done this plenty of times at Schnucks. Can I get help with this subject please? TIA

    ReplyDelete
  10. Tisha,

It depends on how each deal is set up. Sometimes the deal can be stacked, and other times you will need to separate the transaction. It would be great to be able to stack the ConAgra deal on a $10/50 week, but I don't see that ever happening!

Now, you can "roll" the CATS with no problem, unlike Wags RRs. Use one to pay for the next purchase and another will still print.

    HTH!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hi Tisha - I thinkg of Instant Savings stacking more often than multi-product Cat deals. But as Staci said every offer can be structured a little different.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Agree that Asian Sensations taste good. I'd call it comparable to Kahiki and have been loving either paired with homemade sweet and sour chicken - so much cheaper than takeout Chineses!

  13. Hello, I'm planning the Thursday shopping trip, and wondering if anyone can confirm the Con-Agra Catalina will still print this week. I asked the store manager at a Belleville store about it on Tues. He made a couple of calls and was told no on the coupon printing. Has anyone actually got one to print this week? Thanks in advance.

    Julie

  14. Hi All,

That baby finally came by em. c section and its a boy 5.7 lbs and 18 in long. =) Both are doing fine. =)

I cked out the Pagoda pks today when I stopped in and I think I will work a couple into one of my plans.

Hi Julie, Yes the ConAgra is printing I stopped in today and tested it again just to make sure:

    24 HC Soup
    1 Hunts Ketchup
    =$25
    -$12 HC Soup Qs
    -$10 Cat in hand
    =$3.00 + tax .31
And I did receive the $10 Cat back =)

My Local Managers did not know the deal would still work til I showed them =)

    Hope that Helps

Have a great day to All

  15. Hi Rachel, The Marzetti is not on sale & is $3.98 (both simply dressed & regular small jar) & the Murray's French toast sticks are on sale for $2.66.

    HTH!

I checked a bunch of prices but not sure I'll have time to type it all out. If you are looking for a price, lmk & i'll lyk if I checked it. =)

  16. Hi Jeri,

FYI - The $3 off on the Kashi Q is $3 off of fresh produce & all of the Kashi cereals at my store were on sale for $3.

And in case anyone is wondering, the Barilla Plus is NOT included in the Barilla sale in the extra ad. It is $2.17 this week.

    ReplyDelete
  17. By the way - If anyone is interested in donating some of thier savings for the "Love Handles" bags of food. I asked at an O'Fallon store if the $10 would come off if I purchased 10 of them. They said they would force it if they had to.
So you can donate $50 worth of groceries for $35 OOP on Thursday. Just a thought.

  18. Bummer! Our mail was just delivered and my Hunt's Qs didn't come. =( That totally messes up my plans for going tomorrow morning. Our mail doesn't come until around 2 p.m. I may not be doing a big SNS run after all.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thanks Janet!! I hate to use my free coupons when the products are on sale :)

  20. Hi All - Happy $10 off $50 shopping today!

Janet - Tell your sister congratulation. And, thanks for continuing to test the ConAgra deal.

Staci - Thanks for catching my mistake and not including Fresh Fruit in the Kahiki deal.

Andrea - Great idea fo teh Love Handles bags.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jeri,

LOL! I think you have Kahiki on the brain. The fresh fruit is for the Kashi deal. =)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Rachel,

Not sure if you saw my post above, but I listed prices on a couple of items you inquired about. =)

The Marzetti is not on sale & is $3.98 (both simply dressed & regular small jar) & the Murray's French toast sticks are on sale for $2.66.

  23. Janet,

Congratulations on your new nephew! Glad to hear everyone is doing well. =)

  24. Hi all,

Just got back - tried to Con Agra cat twice at Shop N Save Wood River - no dice. So YMMV. Nice Kahiki surprise. After purchasing one, coupon printed for $2 off 2. Goes really well with the single serve which are $2 for 4. Confirmed some upcoming pricing impacts with the director.

Kraft is mostly likely going to raise another 10% and peppers are going to skyrocket in price. Also, going to see more increases due to transportation charges and increase in corn price. Overall, we can expect price increases across all segments of the market.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi, Rhonda! What do you mean on the Conagra deal? Are you talking about the $10 back coupon when you purchase $25 worth of items? Do you mean they don't stack or totally not working anymore? Thanks in advance.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I just did the ConAgra deal & got my $10.

Bummed about future prices going up.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hi All

Staci - Yes I do. Kahiki's on my shopping list today. :)

Rhonda - It sounds like you have bad Catalina Karma today. Sounds like it might still be working for others.

I think we are in for a challenging sping/summer this year. It looks like my splurge funds will no longer be for splurges.

Thanks Kristen for the update on the ConAgra Cat.

    ReplyDelete
  28. All,

I am sure it is just me, hubby was with me and he tends to get flustered and cause distractions. I just emailed Catalina and we shall see. He about had a meltdown over pickles at 7:30 when more shoppers were coming in and crowding the aisles. Love him, but he has such a hard time picking out 1 item. Well, I did have a great shopping day and he was a big help. Hope everyone else has a great day too.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sorry Staci I thought that was Janet...LOL Thank you so much for checking :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Rachel,

No problem! I thought you were thanking her for something else and I just wanted to make sure you saw my post so you had the info you needed. =)

  34. AARGH! Mail came and still no coupons. =( I guess the ConAgra deal just isn't in the cards for me today and now I have to re-work my trips. Sorry for whining, but I'm REALLY bummed right now.

    ReplyDelete
  35. What a bummer Staci!! Hope you can work up something else good. If you can earn that first $10 cat, my other scenarios worked out well w/o many ConAgra coupons - just using the $10cat.
    Good luck :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thanks, Andrea! I have a $10 cat from last week, so my 1st transaction will probably be my best ever with an OOP of around $2, but the other two will be a bit more. I think I have three transactions figured out and will still do okay, but I sure hate that I spent money on Qs that didn't arrive in time. Hope I have another good opportunity before they expire.

  38. Hi All,

Andrea those plans look great. Remember that Coke WT will be a beeper-and point out the NAPR on the back =) I had found a couple of those -$5/$50 OYNO Cats but they expired before we had a good Thursday for me to use them.

Staci- I wish you were closer to me-my coupons arrived not sure I will make it back out to do more but I was sent Hunts instead of CBAD coupons. Darn the luck. I was wanting the CBAD.

I think I will call it a day at 11 transactions. I still need to tally everything up. =)

Thank goodness I had put some stew meat w/cream of mushroom soup in the crockpot this morning it smells good. Noodles or rice and maybe a salad. =)

If you want the detailed spreadsheet of what I bought, I'd have to e-mail it.

  40. Janet, You are so kind. =) Not the day I had hoped for, but you can't win 'em all. I was able to use the salty snack WTs I got from you. Thanks! Had to call a manager over because the cashier AND the CS person she called over didn't know if they should accept them. :-/

I am glad I went on my second run even though things weren't going as I had planned. There was a women in line behind me with a hand full of Qs. I asked her if she had any favorite sites she visited and she only mentioned coupons.com (or couponmom, I can't remember). So, of course, I told her about this site and all the wonderful match-ups and information and she wrote the site info down. Then I asked her if she buys the Entertainment Book and she said that she sometimes will get them from nieces/nephews as fundraisers. I flashed one of the SNS Qs and asked if she uses those and she was completely unaware of them. She said she was so glad that she ran into me tonight because her husband is getting laid off tomorrow and she is really going to need watch their money. It felt so good to share those tips with someone who was excited to hear it and who could use the info. Made my not-so-great shopping day well worth it! =)

  41. Thanks everyone for your constant updates on the Con-Agra Catalina. I made 3 transactions today, generating a $10 Catalina each time. I spent $79 for $150 of groceries (all at sale prices)and have a $10 Q left. I'm tired too and the freezer is packed!

  42. A week ago while shopping at SNS, the asst. store director approached me and asked me if I was their extreme couponer. I said that I was a couponer but not extreme. She told me that TLC would be filming a woman as part of an episode of "Extreme Couponers" at the Crestwood SNS. She told me that one of the cashiers said that she thought it was me. I told her that I was actually frustrated by some of the things that I saw on the show and felt like the show gave couponers, in general, a bad rap. So, today when I stopped at the Crestwood SNS, I saw a woman and her husband being filmed for the episode. It will be interesting to watch the episode when it airs.

  44. Hi All - Sounds like everyone had a great day at SNS. Thanks for sharing.

I have a confession - I didn't go. I just coundn't come up with anything much on sale I needed. I'm keeping the coupons I have for free products until another week.

Rhonda - I learned to not shop with my hubby. It makes both of us frustrated.

Staci - Thanks for the shout out to the lady behind you in line.

Nicole - How interesting a Extreme Couponer from St Louis. I hope they edit the show to show couponers in a good light this time.

Janet and all readers - A huge thanks to you!! This blog would be nothing without you all.

  45. what was the total retail value was of the transactions. Second, how much did you spend getting those 50 dollars in Catalina rewards the week before.

  46. Hi Anonymous-

If you are asking me about my transactions from last week please check out last weeks SNS post I stated that info there. =) And I would have to add up the receipts for a total retail value I actually do not get that techie. =) Guessing, as I posted in the feature Jeri has on her site regarding my transactions over the past two weeks I say roughly $1400.00. And I do have other costs I figure into my expenses. HTH

  47. Janet congratulations on the new baby!

Interesting that they filmed at the Crestwood store! I've never had a problem using lotsa coupons there. If I ever have a problem with a catalina printing CS just takes my word for it and either gives me cash back or scans one item X number of times to trigger the catalina. I wonder if filming the show will make them even better?

Also, has anyone noticed that Schnucks is being REALLY picky about coupons lately? I accidentally clipped one and cut through the expiration date. The cashier gave me a really hard time about it and acted like I was stealing from the store. I told her to forget the coupons and she huffed and puffed and said she would probably get in trouble and I told her again to forget the coupons. She finally rang it up but acted like I was being a bad person. I've noticed that they search over every coupon now and look at your stuff and take forever scanning them. Nothing like a lot of unneccesary attention to make you feel like you are robbing the store.

  48. Hi Marcella

I'm dying to know who TLC filmed in town. I can't wait to see the show.

I haven't had too many problems at Schnucks lately, but I haven't shopped there to much either lately. If you feel like you were being treated badly, you should contact Corporte Customer Service.
