  1. I have a question...with the pick 3 or more for $5 per package....if you buy 4 is it still $5.00 or do you have to buy 3, 6, 9...etc to get the price? TIA

  2. Yeap it says 3 or more packages for $5 a piece. Just as long as you buy at least 3 you are getting them at $5 a piece. I also have a question, why does SS and RP mean after it says like 40 cent coupon and it has a date and SS and RP behind it.

  3. Smartsouce & Red plum coupon inserts from the paper & the date is which paper they were in

  4. Hi All - There is a key to abbreviations on the right side bar. I include the date and which insert the coupon is in because many people (including me) don't clip coupons until they are going to use them.

  5. Here is a link to a $1.50 Wholly coupon:

I bought a guacamole and salsa today, used 2 coupons. The second beeped and had to be reduced down to $1.49, but I was very happy with $.25 for both. :)

  7. Thanks, JB!!!!

Hi pixie_bit - I think I saw a $2 Kahiki coupon yesterday, or maybe I was just dreaming. Thanks for the heads up on the price.

  9. How many papers on average do you normally buy for the coupons?

  10. Hi Anonymous - I have a family of 3. I think 1 insert per family member is a good rule of thumb on the number of inserts to acquire. If it's a really good week for food coupons I might go to six.

Check out my post on the subject - quit a few readers chimed in on how many they bought/acquired.

  11. For anyone curious about the Dierbergs B3, get them for $5 each -
Not spectacular or really worth the drive - most packages would have been normally priced around $4-7. Some items included were - pork tenderloin vacuum pack bags (but they had singles in them, not the usual doubles), 4 boneless pork chops, packs of bone-in chicken breasts, whole chickens, beef london broil type item, pork boneless rib roast (fraily small), etc. One good buy was 3lb pkgs of purdue ground turkey.

  12. Hi pixie_bit - Thanks for the additional info. I used to like this meat & seafood sale, but over time it has become more hype than deal. I've even seen packages regularly priced less than what the sale price is.

  13. The meat sale was not that great. The ground turkey and chicken breast (in the bag) were so-so, but the beef patties only had 4 in the package.

  14. Got a print out about a current cat at dierbergs - Buy Viva paper towels and save on your next order - B2G$1, B3G$1.50, B4G$2.50 I think (I lost it), something similar to that anyway - keep a look out if anyone is planning to buy paper towels at Dierbergs.
