  1. I got the B1G1 Biore out of the Suburban Journal for those in the Stl area. If you get this you may want to check your inserts even though it wasn't it the Post Dispatch

  2. Question for you pros out there... Walgreen's is advertising a free cleanser with the purchase of a $29.99 ProX system. I have two $5 off coupons (from last week's inserts). Wondering if anyone has the same and can weigh in on whether the two coupons would work with those products?

  3. Is your question about whether you can use a coupon on the free item? If so, then yes, you definitely can. As long as your $5 coupons are for the 2 items you are buying, you should have no problems. Their coupon policy clearly says you can use 2 coupons on a BOGO sale. You shouldn't have problems with either the register or cashier.

  4. I just returned from my Walgreens trip and here are a few notes:
-Both of my stores were out of the snickers eggs and the manager at both stores said they will not be getting any more in before Easter. The one manager told me they get their shipment in a few months in advance and they didn't get as much candy as usual. Not sure if this is true of all stores or just that one (it was the one in St. Peters on Salt Lick Rd.). Hopefully others will have better luck finding these than I did. :)
-The gatorade $5 rebate DOES require the UPCs and the Walgreens receipt. Since this is a rebate, be careful if you use RRs to bring down your OOP as you may not get your full $5 rebate if your receipt total is not $5 or more.
-As an added bonus, when I purchased the gatorade I received a 'Give your opinion and get $5.00' survey from the catalina machine. It's an online survey about sports drinks/food and since this was the only drink/food I purchased in this transaction, I'm pretty sure the gatorade triggered it.

  5. Hi Pixie_bit - Thanks for the journal info.

Hi Jamie - I really appreciate your field report. Thanks!

I'm not surprised about stores being out of the Snckers Eggs. There might not be any left in town, since they were free a few week's ago. The survey makes the Gatorade deal quite the deal.

  6. I did the Gatorade today and did not receive the survey, so it is definitely a YMMV.

  7. Thanks JB - Too bad everyone doesn't get the survey. That makes for a heck of a deal.

  8. YMMV = Your mileage may vary.

You might have a different expierence.

  9. for the pampers deal, it is printing 2 / 3$ RR .

  10. Guess I should consider myself lucky that I found snickers eggs today. I can't find the tasters choice stick packs anywhere, though. I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with getting those at SNS!

  11. Hi Anonymous - Can you tell us more. What exactly did you buy to trigger two RR?

Staci - You are lucky with the eggs. I didn't think there was any left in town.

  12. For anyone who got the Gatorade rebate form - can you tell us if there is any fine print like "not good with other offers or coupons" or anything that might prevent the full rebate amount? Thanks!

  13. I finally found the Nexcare bandages that are on rebate. At the Clayton Wags they are on an end cap facing the pharmacy. They werent there a few weeks ago so maybe other stores are getting them now too. Yay, 3 free boxes!

  14. CJ,

I have the Gatorade MIR form. There is print at the bottom, but it is so small and so light I can't read it. I really have never had a problem getting the full amount on these Walgreens rebate forms that print at the cash register even when I use coupons and pay with RRs. I find them a great way to turn RRs into cash. However, there is always a first time!

The problem with this one is you need the UPCs on the products. The first 2 aren't bad, but the third is a smoothie in a cardboard container. If you cut the UPC off, the liquid will spill out.

Others mentioned about a $5 survey form printing. When my younger daughter bought the Gatorade products, she received two survey forms. I think only one per address is allowed, so not sure why she got two of them. My older daughter and I did not get this survey info when we bought the products. My younger daughter has always been the lucky one ~~ I guess even at Walgreens!

  15. Hi CJ & KC - I've never done one of the rebate deals at Walgreens. If one of the products with a MIR was a product I couldn't live without, I might think about it. But, I quess the deals haven't been what I think are worth the effort. I've come to the conclusion, I like the really easy deals.

  16. KC - Thanks for the info. I looked at the 3rd Gatorade carton and it looks like the UPC would be hard to get off even if it's empty. I think I'll skip this one.
Jeri - I've gotten pickier with the deals I choose to do too. Easy is best!
