  1. Schnucks in Washington, MO, was giving out really nice Scotch brand adult scissors today for free at checkout. I guess they were on sale for $1 and the cashier had a stack of $1 coupons. She said "limit 10 per customer." I don't have kids in school, so I only took one, but if you are a teacher or have older kids (4th grade and up who can handle adult scissors), this would be a great deal!

  9. Hi All - I'm hoping to get to Schnucks to take a picture of the scissor deal and post about it. But the first of the week coming on the first of the month makes a really busy few days for me.

If anyone heads to the store and takes a picture with their phone, I would love to post about the deal.

  10. Jeri - I'm headed to Schnucks around 3pm, will look for the scissors and email you the photo if I can.

  11. Just got back from Schnucks and they had only a few scissors left. I was able to get 5. They really didn't have a display. They were just with the school supplies. They only had one left. Wow did I do great at Schuncks though. Spent 43.44 but saved $143.36. I love the Edys Shakes and they were on sale for a dollar. I bought 26 but used my 1 off of 3 coupons.

  12. Schnucks had Crunch candy bars on sale for .67 through the end of the month and there were numerous tear pads for $1.00 of 2 on displays around the store making them .17 a piece. I was in chocolate heaven.

  13. If you use the Splenda coupon on the lesser count box. You get an overage, instead of paying the store .99 cents. I bought the 50 count box at $2.47 and ended up with .53 cent overage.
The coupon states $3.00 off on any.

  14. I see the scissors are big talk. I was able to get well over 100 of them. My store didn't have a limit. They were happy to see us take them.
If anyone knows a school in need of them. Please let me know. I home school so I don't know much about the schools around my area.
    I'm out by the Airport.
    Thanks
