My "best buys" are: items for $1 or less, meat for $2 or less a pound, and a few other items that are at rock bottom prices. When I keep my shopping list to these items, I can bring home a ton of groceries for very little money.

  1. I went to Shop N Save yesterday--Wolf Chili .88!
The Pasta Plus Barilla was 2.17--I didn't have it scanned, it was just what the sign said. South Lindbergh.

  2. Hi Kelly - Thanks for the update. Sorry about the Barilla Pasta Plus. Who knows whats up with that. I was quite surpirsed when I say the sign for $1 on it at the store I shop on Monday. I wonder if it is still there.

I asked a SNS manager if they did the same thing as Schnucks and Deirbergs when an item rings up wrong. He just laughed at me and said they change so many prices a week they could never do that. He my as well just said, "we get so many prices wrong each week ...."

I hope the Barilla Plus Pasta didn't mess up your plan.

  3. Thanks for the info, that saves me a trip to SNS. Barilla Plus was the only thing I was going to buy this week.
