The most cost effective way to shop at Walgreens is to roll your Register Rewards from week to week.Last week's Walgreens Scenario, left you with a $5 Register Reward. Here is how I would use it this week. If you're not starting with the Register Reward, this is still a good scenario to get you started at Walgreens.

My "best buys" are: items for $1 or less, meat for $2 or less a pound, and a few other items that are at rock bottom prices. When I keep my shopping list to these items, I can bring home a ton of groceries for very little money.
Here is what I see as the best "cherry picking" items at the other grocery stores in town. I don't include all the match-ups, but only items you might want to pick up, if one of these stores is convenient to your location.
The best deals at Schnucks never get advertised. If you find a great deal, please leave a comment.
Remember when shopping at Target: You can use a manufacturer and Target store coupon on the same product.
