Coupon Preview 8/16/09

Sunday's St Louis Post Dispatch has Two coupon inserts - SmartSources and RedPum

Some of my favorite coupons this week:

  • Buy Fusion Cartridge get Fusion Shave Gel FREE
  • B1G1 Oral-B CrossAction manual toothbrush
  • $3 off Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers
  • $3 off any Schick Disposable Razor
  • $3 off 2 Arm & Hammer oral care products
  • $2 Buddig Fix Quix 4-pack
  • $2 off A.1. Steak Sauce or Marinade
  • $2 off Pull-Ups
  • $1 off Rodes Warm-N-Sev Rolls
  • $1 off Goodlife Recipe Treats for Dogs
  • $1 off Dove Brand Silky Smooth Chocolate Bag
  • $1 Purex Complete 3-in-1 starter kit or refill pouch
  • $1 off Baush & Lomb Opcon-A eye drops
Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my $1 investment.

DEAL$ and Dollar Tree sell the Sunday Post Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. They usually have the Sunday paper left around on Monday also. Find the Deal$ or Family Dollar closest to you.

  1. Jeri- Thanks for the info on where to find a cheap Sunday paper. I missed the days of $.99 P-D and for a few weeks, a Journal carrier has refrained from dumping the Sunday ad sections into a certain green and yellow recycle box. I got lucky last weekend and came home with just under 300 SS inserts.

P&G is doing a B$25 (one transaction) and receive a $20 NFLShop.com code by mail. Info is in HyVee ad and supposedly Schnucks, Dierbergs and SuperValu with each chain having it own mail-in form.

  2. Kas - WOW! You are more than lucky.:)

    I think I'm lucky when I pay $1 a paper.

  3. It always pays to check out those green and yellow recycle boxes, especially after Sunday services. On Saturday, I made my run to Sappingtion FM and Save-A-Lot for produce and Wags for pens that I plan to donate at SnS. Okay, the Journal carrier failed to dump off. What I didn't get last weekend is now buried under a few hundred pounds of paper. The good news is that today I score a good stack of inserts from last week P-D Sunday paper. They were still in the newspapers, which indicate copies meant for retail sales, not home delivery.
